Check out the LTB 25. Doesn’t include bracket in length. Best layout I’ve seen on a fishing boat. Amazing customer service and definitely the best riding boat in class. They were at this show don’t know how you missed them.
Hey there. We did see the ltb25. The one they had wasn’t decked out like these other boats and it wouldn’t have been fair to compare them. We love that design and you’re right it’s one of the best riding boats in its class. The traditional formula hull doesn’t disappoint. 🤙
Great job on your comparison. My choice is the Limitless 26. Can’t wait to see you back on the water in your Grady white ❤. cheers 🥂 to your next adventure
Both nice boats. I think the Orion is better suited to fishing. The Limitless seems to be more of a blend of fishing or sandbar. I think for me I would want to ride in both to get a feel for how they handle various sea states. Well done on the comparison.
We do a bit more fishing, mix that with 3 more feet and the Orion has my heart, but my brain says Limitless, as the head is really nice, the windlass is WOAH, the thicker look and feel to everything adds more of a luxurious and stable feeling to the boat, and the attention to tiny details like "keeping your phone out of the sun", what a clever little spot! Great reviews 🙏
They both are pretty awesome boats but you hit the nail on the head. I’m more of a keep it simple kinda guy although luxury can be nice too. I’m with you on that!
Can't tell you how much I look forward to your posts.as an aside and not a criticism just an observation and food fir thought. I know you have not by choice an older 2 stroke motor as did I fate intervened for me and I'm blessed with a 200 Yamaha. With this motor and tried of 3 people on board at 34 hundred rpm's 27 mph. I'm getting 5.5 miles to the gallon.
Both look real nice. I chose Limitless, was impressed with the quality. Btw, it’s 2.3 at cruise, not 1.3. Glasswork and overall fit and finish really came through when I saw in person.
Hard to explain to people just how big these hulls and power systems in fact are although talking displacement and what it takes to tow, launch and retrieve these beasts might help. A lot to be said for narrower boats for getting in and out of boat ramp always an important thing in Florida.
First it's insane how pricey boats have gotten. I will take the Orion because of the fishability, wiring and engine bracket over the Euro transom but fit and finish was better on the Limitless. Wish you would have included an LTB as I think they're bang for the buck in today's market but I don't know what a comparable Duskey or CapeHorn go for these days. Great video and thank you for sharing...
I agree with everything you stated. I prefer the bracket too. The LTB is an amazing boat. Only thing was that it was a very stripped down version at this show so it wouldn’t have been too fair. Finish on the limitless was excellent! Duskys have gone crazy. Their old 20 is now called the 22 and the 23 is now the 25. Same hulls (great hulls btw) nothing new just jacked up prices. Thanks for watching bro! 🌊🤙🛥️
@@perfectfitboating Wow, never imagined a Duskey with a crazy price. Back in 04 when I was looking for a small open fisherman I settled on a 21 CapeHorn. Cost was 35k with a 200Hp Yamaha two stroke with trailer which is about $58300 adjusted for inflation today. It was an amazing boat with no frills and thrills but built like a tank. I even forgot to put the plug once and after a day at the sand bar the boat barely took on any water as it sat so high above the water line. Due to life hits I now cruise around on a 15 foot Tavernier skiff and couldn't be happier. Like they say the smaller the boat the more you use it. Again you guys are amazing and thank you so much for sharing your videos...
Thank you brother we appreciate that! I remember the days when duskys 21 footer had an ad on Florida sportsman magazine for $29,999 plus tax with trailer, t top and an outboard! I went to the factory to seem them when I was in my early 20s and almost bought one. Adjust for inflation that’s way under 60k for a solid boat! Same boat today is labeled a 23 and worth 90k. What a shame!
I like the limitless they redesigned it and made it a bit bigger to a 27ft Apple to apple these 3 piece boats beat the box brand boats if you can afford it.
I do know I see the Bluewater don’t add the bracket to the length. You made a great video on that. This was a great video will definitely watch again on the big screen lol.
So now boat builders are including the bracket in the length? My 24 footer would be a 27. Limitless doesn't even post specs. Really hard to get apples to apples comparison. Thanks for trying.
while I watched your video I went to Orion's site. The beam is 8'4?? man way too narrow. in comparison the SeaVee 29b the beam is 9'. I just cant picture that boat on a drift too much pitch and roll. For the Limitless I called the rep for Limiteless unfortunately they didnt have a different type of seat configuration. plus the price they are wanting they have bumped their heads . 200k for a 26 ft boat? lol Smaller guys like Limitless are going to have a rude awakening as we dig deeper into this stagflation market. they either have to lower the price to move inventory or shut their doors. Time will tell.
I have to agree. It’s a 26’ boat for that much money. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful. But it’s a lot of money. The beam on the Orion is smaller no doubt. I have to say the roll might be rougher but maybe that flotation bracket helps some. I know that hull is the formula hull that rides amazing so it’s compromise for sure. That’s also why it’s so fuel efficient being a 29 ft boat. Thanks for commenting brother! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating For the price they are asking I just cant justify even with the attention to detail. Its still a hand laid hull. This is why I have been leaning Cobia and sportsman since they use the Varis system when building the hull. its the same system that everglades, Seavee and front runner use when creating the hull. My buddy has the 295 everglades its 6 years old and we fish it real hard. Now things are breaking like hardware drawers which is expected no matter what quality build it is. having said that the structural integrity of the hull and ride is whats important you cant really beat the mid tier boats that are using the high end boat process without the price tag. Trust me when I say this my dream boat is the 29b Seavee but its way out of my price range. If I could afford it no doubt I would pull that trigger regardless of price.
I hear ya. We’ll be doing some factory tours soon on a lot of local boats here in Miami to show more of the build process and to give people an idea of how these boats are built. We’d love to do multiple brands to compare them. I’ve been on a 32 Seavee and man, what an amazing ride. There’s a reason they cost so much more than these other boats. They’re top of the line.

Awesome comparison between 2 great quality boats!! If I had to choose, I would go with the Orion!
Yes! Both awesome! I think we liked the Orion just a little more too
Very comprehensive comparison 👏🏽
Thank you both for the detailed information!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for your comment!

Orion for me too and for the same reason 🤙🛥️🌊

Thanks Dave! We actually upgraded our outboard to a Suzuki 250! We cruise at 30mph and get around 3.2-3.5 mpg depending on the load! We love it!🤙
Both look real nice. I chose Limitless, was impressed with the quality. Btw, it’s 2.3 at cruise, not 1.3. Glasswork and overall fit and finish really came through when I saw in person.
I agree. Limitless is definitely more refined. 🌊🛥️🤙

Absolutely! Well said! 🤙
Great job guys i love the 29 if I win lottery it would be at my dock
We really like the 29 also Larry! Lots of space and economical too! If we win the lottery we’ll get you one too! 🤣🤙
We want more of the Grady white
They’re coming Brian we promise! Finishing up a water tank install today if the weather permits!🤙

Seems the Orion is more set up for fishing. While the limitless is more of a sandbar queen.
I think you may be right! Either way we loved the both of them!🤙
I like the limitless they redesigned it and made it a bit bigger to a 27ft Apple to apple these 3 piece boats beat the box brand boats if you can afford it.
Youre absolutely right about that. I loved both of them! 🌊🛥️🤙

Orion..no contest. Wish I had taken advantage of the original build price I got from them a couple years ago.
It’s pretty bad ass. If you’re talking pre 2020 I’m sure it was a fantastic price! 🤙
@@perfectfitboating yep. Nov 2020. 128K without electronics.
@chris_bjj123 Mannnn I was guessing 140-150k! That’s wild! Prices are nuts.

Thanks Peter. Some boat builders go as far as including a pulpit into overall length and some include motors! I hear ya though! Thanks for commenting.
creo que los botes custom le estan ganando la pelea a las grandes marcas, un sadulo bro
Yo también creo lo mismo. Especialmente los botes construido aquí en Miami. Un abrazo bro! 🤙
Try to check axopar 45. Maybe it will fit in your needs and budget. Try the brabus edition.
bruh that boat is 500k base spec without engines, its not even the same class of boat.
Thank you 😂
