Build quality seems good but it seems small for a 26fter. At least in the video. Also every boat runs nice in the inter coastal. Gotta run it in some nasty stuff to see what it really does.

Everybody is buildomg boats now. They see the wait times for other manufacturers and the prices their getting so they want to get in on the action. While this boat appears ok, it is a new and unheard of company and will have a hard time justifying their 180K asking price...just my opinoin.

An 8,6 beam is really skinny for a 26ft boat. It should have over a 9ft beam
Not necessarily. There’s a beam to length ratio of at least three to one that’s fairly important in regards to how well a boat rides offshore. If you look at the beam to length ratio of hardcore offshore fishing boats in the 33, 36, 39 and 42 foot categories you’ll see that they’re actually significantly higher than what this boat has. Closer to 3.5 to 1, or higher, which if applied to a 8.5’ beam would make a nearly 30 foot boat. So the beam to length ratio on this boat is actually a good thing, and a beam of over 9 feet would not be conducive to a soft riding boat.

That’s what your going to pay for a well built 26 foot CC these days, your looking at about $60k alone for the outboards un-rigged !
While not justifying costs, especially for this boat from a new company, have you actually priced a boat recently? Not just in the past year with inflation and supply chain increases but the last several years. You’ll spend that or more on many 25-26’ boats. You’re well into the 200’s in a 25 Regulator. A Contender 25T is probably easily near that price with options. Even lower tier boats you’re talking easily 150 on many this size.
You think this is crazy look into how much CCO’s own Cayo/Costa 26’ cat costs. Hint: over 300k
Well said. This is one of the reasons we tend to stay away from saying prices because you can’t find a lot of options for under 150k.
I feel like the starting prices of CC"s could be much lower if every boat wasn't custom made, and I wonder why there is no manufacturer doing that in the CC market.
@@TheVonMatrices There’s builders out there that put out boats in these sizes at incredible volumes but at lower costs, but take a good look at their whole processes from start to finish. They don’t have problems sending out boats with voids and manufacturing issues, they’ll still make money off of it. But the material isn’t what’s expensive about boat manufacturing, it’s labor and a lot of it too.
