Hi, may I ask you if you are a member of the Morris minor forum? You don't need to be a member of the MMOC, you can sign up and ask questions about these vehicles. Every one is helpful. Keep up the good work. Regards Jonnie.👍
I was but let it lapse in a cost saving frenzy! Was going to rejoin as the local group are very good and helped with some major work I had done early on.
@@timsbobs7774 Hi thanks for your reply. I'm flywheel on the forum. It costs nothing to join. However please keep us updated on your progress. You certainly have a nice little channel. Kind regards Jonnie.

I still wonder what the problem with the trunion is/was. I knew about this , but I keep hearing a knock when I have to break suddenly, is that what you referring to? For the most part I grease the trunion each time I notice the knocking sound when running over some rubble or so it's more a feeling then a recommendation in the manual. Awesome tip about the extra bit of heat by detache the elefant trunck of the intake btw. For the rest, ... Hartelijke groeten uit Holland.
Hi there wasn’t any knocking but a slight pull to the left. When I took it to garage they said there was play/movement in the left side trunnion (which had been replaced 18 months ago) and on inspection the thread was excessively worn (even though they had been greased). All seems Ok at the moment but due for another grease soon!
Don't know about the trunnions on the Minor but on the Spifire and also Herald it is recomended to use gear oil aka Hypoid 80/90.
Thanks for the video
