The King James Version is THE HOLY BIBLE for all English-speakers! I love the way he doesn't mince words when it comes to Westcott and Hort, "... the criminals and villains in translations."
The 1611 KJV was a revision of the 1602 Bishops' Bible. The 1611 KJV was not a new Bible translation, given that that much of its content was borrowed from or influenced by predecessor English translations including the Rheims NT, Great, Geneva, Coverdale, Matthews, and Tyndale. The KJV translators also consulted Latin (including Latin Vulgate), Syriac, Italian, Spanish, French, and Dutch translations. The KJV consulted several Greek New Testament editions of Erasmus, Stephanus, Beza, and the Complutensian Polyglot. The 1611 KJV was an eclectic Bible revision and perhaps the best Bible of its day. Most KJV readers today are reading 1769 Oxford edition by Blayney. The 1769 KJV still needs further revision to correct some remaining translation errors like Heb 10:23 "profession of faith", which should be "profession of hope", and Mat 1:20 "thou son of David", which should be "son of David" since thou is not in the Textus Receptus. The insertion of "thou" or its equivalent in predecessor English translations is an influence from the Luther Bible, "du Sohn Davids".
Modern versions make Jesus a sinner, they leave out "without a cause" when " anyone is angry with his brother". Because , in later chapters Jesus looks around in anger.
He read 2 Timothy 3:16 of the KJV as a reference to the original writings that the originals are inspired. Isn't it ironic? But when I read and study my KJV bible, all I see is scriptures. If i see scriptures, then it surely is inspired as 2 Timothy 3:16 says. If you don't believe that the KJV is inspired then you don't have God's word in your hands.
can anyone, explain this to me? (Proverbs 30:28, KJV) - "The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces." the Hebrew of the word spider is "שׂממית or śemâmı̂yth" which means lizard. And many scholars say that the proper translation should be "Lizard". Why is that so if the KJV is the perfect translation? The lizard you may grasp with the hands, Yet it is in kings' palaces (NASB) the lizard you can take in your hands, yet it is in kings' palaces. (ESV) I am not here to debate but just to find clarifications. thank you :)

I do have one question, why have the amplified next to the KJB?
I used KJV because that is the English origin.
Can't think of any good reason to read the KJV. Especially as we have much better more accurate modern translations in English we can understand.
After baptist day i heard this... what happen
Let use the orginal because it is inspired

The King James Bible is an Anglican church bible not MBBE. The KJV 1611 first/original contained the apocrypha with a total 73 books not 66.
Yes but apocrypha is not Holy scripture, it's historic scripture.
