@@tylerharper5306 6 has a lot going for it, that's for sure. I think 4 is ultimately better. My NES ranking is: 4 is the best 6 is the second best then 3, 5, 2 and 1. With 2 and 1 being among the worst canon Mega Man games for sure. Saying 3 is better than several other games is not a common opinion to have in 2025 but I genuinely believe that 3 does more right than it does wrong and 5 is kinda embarrassing with how bad the weapons are and how easy the game is 95% of the time.
I think this is fine, but it absolutely killed me how you did not use a charged up Pharaoh Shot Idk if you’re aware, but yes, you can charge Pharaoh Shot against Ring Man As for Dr. Wily being the villain the whole time… it can get repetitive, but Y’know, this guy is a villain. of course he’ll kidnap a little girl and force her father to be evil Of course he’s gonna make some robots to impersonate your brother to have him evil Of course he’s gonna disguise as a billionaire for a tournament and turn the final 8 into evil Thankfully though, they broke this streak by Mega Man 7 And also, if you want a game where Dr. Wily is NOT a final boss, Mega Man V on the GameBoy
So I did know you could charge the Pharaoh Shot, I think I did and just sadly didn't show much footage of it. The Wily always being the final boss thing is just me getting sick of this series always having to go back to Dr Wily instead of doing something new. Hell if it was Protoman who forced Cossack then the next game follows up on that story line, 4-6 in my opinion would be remembered more.
@@EvilSpiritCommentaryfair enough, but if you want a game where Wily is not the final boss and just found some new villains and put them back online, I’d recommend Mega Man V for the Game Boy In short: Wily found ancient planet destroying robots and put them back online and Mega Man got a new charged shot
well yes but actually no, you see when wily started his evil plans it was simply for recognition, he helped develop and design the first 6 true robot masters (the ones from mega man 1) but he didn’t get any credit, so he decided to get back at light by reprogramming them, he simply wanted to be called a genius, afterwards he would’ve stopped, but then mega man stopped him, and it happened 2 other times until he reached his boiling point where after 3, wily went full villain and took kalinka, a child by the way, hostage. he did this because he held a grudge against dr cossack and essentially took kalinka as a way to get cossack to do evil, this was the first real look at what wily became, he no longer wanted recognition, he wanted the world to fall to its knees and praise him.
Out of the classic NES titles I usually see people call MM4 the best. MM6 is my favorite one but I kinda think these 2 are on the same level. TL;DR - MM4 and MM6 are more polished and more interesting experiences than the others I don't think I'd have to explain why it's better than 1. It's better than 2 because even though a lot of it's stages might not be outstanding, there is nothing as bad as Crash Man or Quick Man stage, it's bosses actually work (besides Toad Man) and it's Wily Stages are definitely better. Better than MM3 because 3 could've been the best but it's clearly rushed, decently laggy and unpolished, and it's pacing is terrible, the Doc Robots were completely unnecessary, they were reused stages with reused bosses, atleast with the Cossack stages you get something new. MM4 is also better than MM5 because it actually has uses for it's weapons outside of the bosses (like every other game) again it's stages might not be the best but atleast they aren't boring and uninspired in design like 5, and some MM5 levels are complete BS, Wave Man's water bike section for example was the start of bike levels in Mega Man games, and if you've played MMX4, MMX5 and kinda MMX8 you know these stages tend to suck. Again the Dark Man stages feel completely unnecessary because they're short like a Wily stage but with the same reused boss. And finally I'd say it's on par with 6 because 6 takes away the fact that you can jump out of a slide, but I think 6 has the strongest level design in the NES hexalogy, but it's pacing is ruined by having to constantly switch to the Adapters. I think both have great weapon usage (unlike 5) and the weapons are fairly balanced for the most part (unlike 1 and 2) of course both of them are fairly polished, nothing as outdated or broken as 1 & 3's gameplays respectively. Nothing as lackluster or bland as 1, 2 & 5's stages (or anything as horrendous or boring as 2's Wily stages outside of the first one) of course both have 2 sets of endgame stages which gives them worse pacing than 1 & 2 but better pacing than 3 & 5 since they don't just reuse assets.
I like reading comments like these cause you go in depth of what you like from a Mega Man game. I made this video to see how good this game is and you basically laid out how I felt about the games between 1-6. I like the games, hell I think Mega Man 1 and 3 are the worst entries while 4, 5, and 6 are all good games. When I recorded the audio for the video I didn't beat Mega Man X2 or 7 which I have during the actual editing process. I still haven't play X3-X8 all the way through but I guess that's something I have to get onto now huh. I have seriously been debating whether to tackle some of the other Mega Man games. Though if you wanna see someone who does make Mega Man content, I highly recommend Roxy Reviews. They reviewed 1-4 so far, they are the pinned comment.
@ Yes, I really love explaining why I like something so it doesn't just come off as this game good, that game bad. It would be interesting to see you dive into other series games and thanks for the recommendation, I just checked Roxy's channel and immediately found a video I want to watch.
Mega Man 4 sweep! Or... vacuuming? Because of Dust Man?
2:41 oh don't worry, I'm perfectly fine doing that
Thank you lol
Still the best out of the NES games
I agreed with that point
I like 3 best, despite the glitches and Doc Robots.

I was so upset playing this game cause I beat the cosac stages then had to play more wily stages after I already wasn’t having fun
