PSUnleashed has changed a lot since 0.6 dropped, so decided to do funny speedrun of it. Actual reason of speedrun being just having badass fight with toads while listening to slipknot demos.
Sike for some reason havent done speedrun of overhauled beta yet, so out of drained patience for it I recorded this run. Huge chances of being easily beaten as it's my first PSU speedrun ever lol.

You mean to tell me that Mario Combat is just another form of Power Star Unleashed?
@@powerstar8862 opposite, actually PSU, as PStar Game original build, is an improved form of Mario Combat
The OG build was scrapped by ongokiller back then, up until ACL worked around with it and made PStar Unleashed
So eh PSUnleashed is another form of Mario Combat

Mario with actual martial arts training and his powerups would be terrifying. Reminds me of hammer mario vs the clawed metal koopa in og mario bros z.

@@chajas5529 by lore (at least of its lil revamp in PSU), Bowser stolen the Power Star before events of PStar (back before Bowser death there was only one Grand Star, which only princess peach had), Mario goes to him to take it back.
After Bowser's death, the Power Star that he had with him transformed all the dead koopas Mario has killed into boos.
So yeah Mario Combat is a prequel to PStar Series

The "Mario Combat" flash game. This was made by expanding it, and is a recent prequel to the now being remade Power Star sprite movie.
This reminds me of an old flash game called "mArIo cOmBaT".
But seriously, this was a trip.

to be fair this game was a dog shit until it got 0.6 update near end of 2024's september, this is where the game got peaked
Wait, so Power Star actually DID get its game after all? I thought the creator scrapped it & made Mario Combat?
From what I know the Original PStar Game by DSun and OngoKiller was scrapped after Mario Combat game, as it used assets and (even tho revamped for Action Script 3 but same) script from MarCom. Luckily FreddyXBR managed to leak unfinished demo of the game to public as he had it on his USB drive (I think)
The game was scrapped until late 2023 where I decided to find a way how to decompile the old demo in November. After few researches, found out that FFDec could not only extract files from swf file, but it could also edit the swf itself, so that's how development actually started (November 21th)
Later on I was in search for any PStar related discord server to announce so called "PStar Game FanFix" modification, named "Power Star Unleashed". And just in few minutes I found Official Power Star server in Power Star Reimagined 1 Description. To cut long story short Fyar (Owner of Acilunatic) hired me to his team and we started work on Power Star game more serious. And so on PSU was getting more and more updates since then, basically becomes the PStar Game every fan was wishing for.
And the game became official with Daniel Sun and Ongokiller approval.😊

Hey I have a challenge for you, can you beat Power Star Unleashed without killing a single Toad or Yoshi.
It should be possible though some rooms require a kill count i think sadly
@@innertails9584 it's not possible to do so for versions above 0.5 as in most levels there are doors that require you to kill certain amount of enemies
Easily possible however for versions below 0.6
