FETTUCCINE ALFREDO
Ingredients:
1 package of fettuccine pasta
3/4 pint of heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp of butter
1/2 cup of grated Romano cheese
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
1. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain pasta and run cold water over it to stop cooking.
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter until golden brown with a sweet, nutty smell.
3. Add in heavy cream to the brown butter in the saucepan. When it comes to a boil, add in the pasta.
4. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add in more heavy cream if needed.
5. When pasta comes to a boil, add in romano cheese.
CHICKEN CUTLETTE
Ingredients:
2-4 chicken breasts
1 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Slice chicken breasts in half so that they're thin enough to cook all the way through on the stovetop. Add salt and pepper to chicken and set aside.
2. Add 1 tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp of olive oil to a large saucepan.
3. Once butter has melted, add seasoned chicken to saucepan.
4. Cook 6 minutes on each side or until completely done.
LEMON BUTTER SAUCE
Ingredients:
1-2 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp of capers
2 lemons
1 tbsp of garlic
1. Add olive oil and garlic to a saucepan.
2. When garlic becomes fragrant, add capers and lemon juice.
3. Take the saucepan off of the heat, add in the butter and move the pan around until butter melts completely. Pour sauce over chicken.
SPINACH
Ingredients:
1 small container of spinach
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp of olive oil
1. Add sliced garlic and olive oil to a large pot.
2. When garlic becomes fragrant, add in spinach.
3. Be careful not to overcook your spinach. Move around with tongs until slightly wilted.
GARLIC BREAD
Ingredients:
4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp red pepper flakes
2-3 tbsp of oregano
1 bunch of Italian parsley
1 cup of parmesan
Goat cheese or mozzarella
1 baguette
1. Chop Italian parsley and garlic cloves until fine.
2. Combine oregano, red pepper flakes, Italian parsley, garlic and olive oil into a bowl.
3. Slice baguette in half. Spread spice and parsley mixture onto baguette.
4. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and goat cheese on top.
5. Bake on 400F for 15 minutes or until crispy.

I lost my dad in December. We were not close at all and he suffered from mental health issues that made him alienate himself. Seeing your dad be so loving and kind and just enjoy being around family is healing. Love these videos.

I literal cried when I read your comment. Me and my dad also we aren’t close at all too. I’m just keeping looking for videos like this to feel the love and joy. Through the video I couldn’t stop smiling and enjoying. I’m just asking my self why we aren’t close even a little bit. Mental health issues are really toxic and destructive especially when it related to parents and kids. It’s making a huge distance between both of them. Unfortunately the kids growing up palming them self and everything surrounds why they aren’t lucky enough to have a healthy relationship with their father for example like me.

I love this video so much. I love the first video in the series as well. Amanda, I have cooked the cilantro chicken at least 4 times and my family loves it. I make the rice too, but without the saffron. I keep forgetting to buy saffron!
I love these videos, because Baba uses fresh ingredients throughout. I love the fact that he encourages good fats and reminds us that our body will thank us. I love that about your Father. I started off in the restaurant industry when I was in high school. I wish I had a manager like your Dad. His employees must love working for him. Your family is so Blessed. Baba reminds me so much of my own dad who passed away in Ramadan almost 3 years ago now. With Ramadan around the corner in shaa Allah, I do miss him a lot. Hi Amanda, i just came across with your channel and i was curious about the food you eat for Ramadan or how u celebrate Ramadan. And then i keep scrolling other of your videos which capture me your moments cooking with your father, i know that those videos were 2 years ago but it really capture my attention, cuz it is really sweet and memorable moments cooking with your father which i enjoyed a lot seeing how bonding you both are. it really touched my heart cuz my dad was a cook too which he is now rest in peace and i love cooking as well which i took culinary arts but never have a chance to recorded those memorable time that my dad were teaching me his dishes.
I am really happy for you that you both enjoyed cooking together and I enjoyed the story of your dad when he met your mom at the restaurant. it was really nice and same time joyful how he conquer your mom heart. I did watch cooking chicken cilantro dish with saffron rice and also the chicken fettucini with garlic bread and i will try this days to do those 2 dishes since your dad have a unique technique of cooking. Also, saw the video cooking with ur mother in law the chicken cabsa also i will try that. first day watching you and i did watch basically like 10 of ur videos which i will continue watching all of your video since the day u started you tube.
