  • Aling Oday’s quick and easy Sizzling Chicken Sisig. Sisig is an authentic Filipino side dish or appetizer. This is a popular pulutan among beer drinkers. Sisig refers to “a method of preparing fish and meat, especially pork which is marinated in a sour liquid such as lemon juice or vinegar, then seasoned with salt, pepper and other spices.” Best serve with rice or with salad.     Ingredients:
    1 Whole Roast Chicken (Lechon Manok), shredded
    1/4 kg. Chicken Liver, boiled (optional)
    1 large Onion, chopped thinly
    5 - 6 cloves Garlic, minced
    1 - 2 Siling Labuyo, green or red or Chilli Flakes
    1 pc. Lemon, squeezed or 5-6 Calamansi
    1 tsp. minced or grated Ginger
    2 tbsp. Butter
    3 tbsp. Mayonnaise
    1 tbsp. Soy sauce
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Prep time: 15 minutes
    Cook time: 10 minutes
