    This is a better Grand Cherokee than the current Grand Cherokee. This is what WK2 buyers (me) are wanting with the styling vs what we got with the new GC. That AT4... I love this!

    Would you buy this or the Traverse, CX-90, Telluride, Explorer or Palisade??

    • @hskrgrad
      @hskrgrad 6 місяців тому +7

      My wife has the first model year Palisade and loves it but I wouldn't want the same SUV as her so that would be out. The Explorer design has gotten tired to me; needs a major refresh inside and out for me to consider it. Haven't seen much on the new Traverse yet. Like the Telluride for the most part but HATE that new lower front bumper enough to not buy it. Have never really liked the Acadia but this new model is nicer, except the obnoxious oversized chrome grill. So unfortunately Denali would be out which leaves the AT4 as my option. All things considered I would go CX-70. Mazda's interior is just at a different level for these "mainstream" midsize SUV's and I like the blacked out and more sporty styling compared to the other options. I know you said 90 but I don't really need the 3rd row and I don't love chrome trim. Thanks for all the great reviews!

    The EPA restriction are why they are going to the 4 cylinder. Many other manufacturers are doing the same. I was thinking the same, too big for a 4. But I went and drove it and eventually purchased one. In the beginning it seemed like it needed some transmission updating. But after about 1000 miles it learns how the driver drives and starts shifting smoother and less revving from the engine. Now, I can’t even tell. It drives great. Nice pick up. Very smooth and comfortable. I traded a ‘21 Buick Enclave with the old 6 cylinder and o can’t tell the difference.

    The 4 cylinder turbo is what most manufacturers like Toyota are moving to due to EPA restrictions. Look up the mpg, very impressive and this engine has more power than the 6 cylinder. More power, better gas mileage, more tech, longer, wider and taller. The base model is $45k and has almost all the same features as the $60k Denali.

    GM finally made the Acadia the same size as it should have already been, The Enclave and Traverse are well built vehicles and even though the Acadia is more GM redundancy it's a nice option to have for loyal GM customers who may want more variations of the Traverse and they certainly do and if Cadillac would do the same they'll have another more luxuriant variant. The 4 cylinder is a decent powertrain but should have a V6 option as well. For me the Enclave is the best vehicle in this segment for the money.

    • @G-Rated
      @G-Rated 6 місяців тому +1

      With Cadillac going Electric in North America with the VISTIQ which replaces the XT6, the Buick Enclave sorta fills that void in the ICE portfolio. GMC Acadia Denali is also a significant step up from the premium feeling Chevy Traverse. It’s true, *gm* customers aren’t necessarily the cheap crowd and demand more options.

    Buyer beware! The 3rd row seat headrests are electric on the Denali trim and are failing on many vehicles! Mine came with both non functioning, seats in rear won’t fold down without hitting the 2nd row. One seat motor came broken too. Dealer can not replace or repair because parts are unavailable. I was not allowed to return car, they said it’s a warranty issue. Now I’m stuck. Wait to purchase these until reengineered.

    There is a good reason why Americans prefer big non-turbo engines. Because they can last due to the type of driving (long distances) in the country. Now put 4 cyl turbo on a big SUV and after several years there will be so many blown engines or turbos that would cause mass bankruptcy on car dealers and even manufacturers . RIP

    This is the BEST looking Acadia of all time. I have the following suggestions for GMC Leadership to attract even more consumers. Replace the 2.5 Turbo with the 2.7 Turbo found in the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado pickup trucks. This will reduce costs due to the communization of powertrains for these four models, Acadia, Traverse, Canyon, and Colorado! Replace the second row Captain seats with a 40/20/40 second row bench seating. Replace the standard 20 inch wheels with 18 inch wheels on the Elevation Trim for better ride comfort. Delete Paddle Shifters on all trims -unnecessary on this type of vehicle. Add second row privacy shades for Babies and sleepy passengers. I believe these suggestions especially the larger engine and second row bench seating will attract more buyers IMHO. This would definitely be my next purchase in 2025 with these suggested improvements.

    I think you do your viewers a disservice .this suv is an accident waiting to happen.i just got it two days ago and while I find the ride fantastic ,I also find the driving experience very bad and I have millions of whiles driving under my belt.i love my heated seats so on this suv you have to hit the seat emblem on the flat screen then another one pops up in the middle of the screen ,so you have to take your eyes off the road to find it then if you want to bring the heat back up to the max you have to hit it 4 more times and since its not a switch just a touch screen you have to look at that screen to keep hitting it(veryyyy bad design ,un safe)also I found when the sun comes in just right you can find these areas on the screen because you cant see anything on the screen.so as of the writing I would not buy this again.i also have a 2023 Sierra Denali .and that is totally different ,you would think if you buy a Denali you would get the same on each product you buy ,but you dont
