- This episode we are focusing on the BMW 335i suspension bits and pieces.
E90 is going to be getting Megan Racing coilovers.
ESR RF11 wheels with NEXEN tires
Specs for the wheels are 18x9.5 +22
Nexen tires are 265/35/18 - Авто та транспорт
Def keeping tabs on this series. Just picked up a 06 E90 325i sedan.

People bag on ESR but, they make some NICE wheels for the money.

You can go fairly aggressive on a non-M E90 vs E92 due to wider rear quarters & metal front fenders. Was able to fit 18x9.5 +22 on 275/35-18 square without an issue.
On my E90 M3, I ran 18x10.5 +20 on 285/30-18 square as a track set up.
I’m still in the process of adjusting my suspension but I did get the front dialed in so now I just need to do the rear and see how it looks
I have a 06 330i e90 and want to run a square setup of 18x9.5 with a 265 tire my options are +35 and +38 think those would fit and not rub the strut
Don’t know about front but I know rears should clear fine
What was your final alignment looking like I currently have the same spec wheels and tires in my garage waiting to test fit in the spring
I run about -4 camber up front and i adjusted the caster to almost oem spec
18x10 +20 with 265 fit perfect at the back 😉

What rear adjustable control arms do you recommend for 1000hp 2jz swapped E90 with the Ford rear end kit?
Plz do the video for the fuel sending unit mine is leaking like that, love the vids btw 🔥
just replace it. Buy the complete fuel sender. You have to unplug the electrical connector from the fuel pump and sender start tge car and let it run out of gas. Then unplug the car battery. Then you can unplug the lines because they lost the pressure. then remove the unit. There is a special tool you need remove the locking ring for the sender. Be careful working with fuel and any tools and avoid any sparks. Fish the connecting lines thru the tank from the pump to the sender. reinstall everything and done. no fuel leak.

Looks good but that fender pull is going to sketch. Fender flare or wtcc widebody brother.
Suspension is dialed in and 265 fits without any fender pulling, been driving it around for 2 days now

Yo Ali I want to fit 19” 9.5”wheels on my E92 with a +22 or more offset what size tire should I go with I want R888R tires with as much meat as possible.also upgrading to better racing coil overs as well not sure which yet and a rear M3 subframe new control arms …etc.

@@SwapDepot I work on my own car I’m currently running the same hybrid 17t turbos 7in intercooler upgraded stage 3+ spec clutch and fly wheel JB4 tune with MHD flash tial BOV , short shifter kit
19s are not gonna fit or clear anything, you need to run 18s

Go with BC coilovers for ur e36, that’s what I have and they can go pretty low

How close are the tires to the spring on the inside of the front? I have my eye on a set of forged apex wheels 18x9.5+35 squared, I have BC Racing DS series with Swift spring upgrade on the way
I have about an inch and a half space between the wheel and coilover, +35 is definitely gonna be close, Apex fitment guide tells you to run a spacer on some wheel applications and suspension configurations
Yes, I was looking at their guide, I have camber on the BCs and I plan on upgrade to m arms front and rear, excited to hear! Thank you for the info I should definitely be able to run the spec I want to go
@@tropg im on coilovers, 9.5 on 35 offset will %100 rub. Mine did and I have 8.5 in the front. 10 mm spacers is all you need

Yes and no, YES because the ride quality is pretty good and obviously the price and NO because there isn’t any camber adjustment up front which in my case doesn’t work because my wheels are too aggressive

It’s honestly a personal preference, I like how they ride but I can’t run them on my car since I need camber up front so I will be buying BCs instead

@@SwapDepot you guys should try my set and see how fun you have with them 😘 .... jking aside in my first month of ownership when I bought the car new e90 lci m Sport 2010 335i was haters and by all mostly besides a couple other OG that the first set up I had way back then will never work and it's never done don't bother etc etc ..that by far was easily done and fitted first week or so of ownership and with minimal work just the basic to anyone knows wheel fitment. Specs were 18x10.5 245/35 low positive offsets and 18x11.5 285/30 rear offsets little higher etc always static and every couple years pushed the numbers to where I stand today widest and first to do the specs and so on so on.

Wait sorry so 19x10 Forsure won’t fit the front and rear will be barely fitting or there might be hope to fit?
Might be possible just need to make sure you have the right offset because it can hit the strut
@@SwapDepot yes for front, it hits the coils and tire size is 265 federal RS. So that means it won’t fit right for front but rear is fine?
Rear you can go 10.5 but need weak offset
@@SwapDepot it’s offset is 20, and it’s 19x10.5 all around with 265 tires. No way to fit 2008 bmw 335i e90 right or maybe there’s hope little? Please let me know, thank you.

my BC racing are 8k fronts and 12k rears. Fronts are ok but the rears are ridiculous STIFF. Changing them to 10k soon.
Have you tried messing with the dampening settings?
@@SwapDepot oh yes been tweaking them for the past 2 years....asked another suspension specialist and they suggested I try 10k rears. Doing that soon

No not really as long as ur not rubbing on wires and fuel filler neck

They hook pretty good, Idk about mileage since I was doing burnouts and all of that 😂
