    Hello Christiansburg, Va.!
I love the farm land you traveled through in today's video. The leaping horse mailbox was really cool.
I'm sure that your ribs appreciated the two day break.
    Keep on Triking!

Hope you feel better soon. Loved the Big Ass Truck Dr sign. Our oldest daughter had, what we all called, a Big Ass truck while in college. 😂 very impressive restroom and shower at your campsite. Some great people maintaining that for biking guests.

Ribs take a while to heal, especially bruised ribs. I speak from experience. Glad you are ok!

Thanks!! Oh my - I'm surprised at how long it takes for ribs to heal and how sore they are.

Yep, Virginia has some really lovely scenery along with those big climbs. I'm sure you appreciate the electric assist when you encounter hills.
The route seems relatively light traffic. Has that been the rule for most of your trip so far?
I'm enjoying your videos very much. Most of the biking videos I follow are folks over in Britain. It's nice to watch a cycling adventure here in the States. Keep pedaling. 👍

Thank you! Yes, the trouble with not having shoulders is I'm always afraid for my safety. Sometimes the roads had little traffic but sometimes it was heavier.

Very good. A little rest might help the healing.

Great videos! You are very brave. I am curious about the weight of your loaded trailer. Do you know the weight? I am thinking of getting one for my trike but I am human powered and still undecided on how much the trailer carries plus its weight when loaded. Thanks

Thank you! I had about 80 lbs of gear including the weight of the trailer. I used 4 batteries for this tour, which put me over the weight recommended for my rear rack. The trailer did great and I recommend it. I also prefer panniers.

@@TravelsByTrike Thank you for the information I am planning a ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Natchez Trace. next year. I am riding a scorpion human powered, so I think panniers are my best options. Still buy gear at this point.
