My retailer had to exchange my new B79...so many problems. The new one has some quirks that I'll have to have my repair person check out, but I don't have confidence in this machine. Relative had problems with a brand new expensive Bernina. I have grown weary of Bernina hype. Love my old Sears Kenmore from the 70s.

Since you are so knowledgable reg. The Bernette 70 Series, My Bernette B77 started to show me a maintenance message whenever I switch the machine on. I only have the machine 2 1/2 weeks and I keep on taking the stitch plate off and clean, but the message still pops up.
@@KensSewingCenter I am in the UK so that call would be qulite expensive. My Machine has been collected to be looked at and to be repaired or replaced. Thank you for trying to help.
I had a Bernette 350 deco and upgraded to the Bernette b70. My only complaint is the 5x7 hoop on the b70 says some of the designs I embroidered in my 5x7 hoop on the 350 deco will not fit in the b70 5x7 hoop. Also when purchasing 5x7 designs they don’t always fit the b70 5x7 hoop. I can alway do in the 6x10 hoop but it is such a waste of stabilizer. Has any one else had this oroblem
I have the B79, bought it when they first came out and loved it.
I purchased the B77 from Kens and I love the machine and the purchasing experience I had using Kens online.

I wish they included a manual for the 79 . I've had to download and print hundreds of pages and still can't get the embroidery to work!
