I really appreciate this review. I was very much looking forward to this game, it was probably my most anticipated game in all of my Kickstarters. It did not disappoint, it is a fantastic game that gives something a bit different than a lot of the other DCs out there. One of the semi-negatives you pointed out was the game being harder on smaller player counts, but I think that is actually part of what makes it shine too. There are a lot of ways to ramp up or down the difficulty level and figuring out how to complete certain missions with only 2 characters is pretty fun. And the fact that playing with more characters with more skills actually helps in certain missions make the missions feel a bit more real and not just another rehash of some previous mission. It kind of forces you to think more about who and what you are brining on those missions.

Well, you should give it a try. Some hate it (it's not perfect, way too many tokens and all...) but most love it, and I'm one of them. Quite comparable to Earth Under Siege, but with a shorter name !

The character selection is such an important part of this game. Its super clever
Definitely watching this for the reprint and expansion campaign. Especially if the one off option works well (plus the boss battles coming).
