Hello you're videos put up wile I was watching UA-cam must loving the videos. Looking forward for more thanks ...all the way from newfoundland canda...
I was thrilled to see a new sled racing video. You have an amazing fleet of vintage skidoo iron, I can see it takes the the whole family to keep all those machines up and running. It's great to see yourself and your dad teaching the younger generation to work hard and reep there accomplishments. I'm a skidoo man thru and true but have to admit that yammi was dialed in that day. Look forward to more tuning and racing content. Thanks
Yes it is a lot of work getting these sleds dialed in and to the track. My dad has more sleds then I do which he has been thinning his fleet. We bring 20 some sleds to our big event and that’s not even all of them. My older boys also are starting to collect them which takes some of the load off dad and I. Yes that yammi is dialed in and will be very hard to compete with. My goal is to be second behind him before the end of the season
Very nice! You’ve got a great collection of sleds. I really like the Formula Plus, you don’t see many of those around. I didn’t realize the Fairbanks had such a large ice racing scene. You guys are way too cold for me. I like things warmer next to the ocean here in Valdez. I’ve been into cross country racing down here for many years. As far as this 440, I like to collect and ride the older sleds for fun. I don’t have any plans of wanting to get rid of it. Eventually I want to fix it back up so it looks good.
Yeah the plus x was on my list of sleds I needed to find. I rode a demo down in cantwell when I was a kid in 93. We now have 2 of them. Ice ovals has just started gain traction the last couple yrs. I’m pushing hard for drags to take off I think that’s something pretty much anyone could show up and do. If you come across any other 440’s Mach z’s or any other cool skuds and your not interested let me know. Even old hill climb sleds could be set up for snow drags
@@diyalaskanlifestyle I looked into buying a Plus X back in ‘93 but didn’t move forward with it. I always liked the looks of both PRS body styles. Valdez is weird. With all the sleds that have come into town over all these years, old used ones that still run are hard to find. I think with our crushing snows, tons of rain and the propensity of people that don’t use covers, old machines just go to shit. The weather is just too hard on things to be left neglected in the backyard.
Congrats to all the winners 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This brings back memories of growing up in North western Ontario and racing sleds.

I love that chainsaw starter set up!! I have a 73 Moto ski SR340 that is a bear to start when hot. That set up would be perfect for me!!
