I’ve always wanted to build a 500 oval sled but I’ve been having a hard time finding real good information on why this setup vs that setup what parts to use and what ones not to, honestly you answered quite a few of my questions a lot of guys go oh this is my sled it’s fast I have this many trophys like subscribe, but never give any real world information so thank you
Awesome vid! I know it’s racing secrets but info such as adjusting camber, carbide placement, and track contact is great and more is always appreciated.
Very cool video. I host my own oval track races in Lake Tahoe Nevada. We have a totally flat track set up. Can you expand in comment on camber set up for the spindle on this style of track. Just some beginner or basic set up knowledge. We have no one to learn from out here. Please help!
You should do a video if driving tips.. techniques, positions ,things to feel for... lots of people get in the sport without any advice or idea of what to do
I love the taller clips on my trail sleds... We Canadians have no Speed limits where i am So all the trails are like Race Courses for now. And Most people are doing the 100mph across country. I have video of me doing 100 miles in 54 min with my 83 year old dad in tow behind me.
Hey man! Here from Wisconsin we just started ice oval racing and getting 2 sleds ready for next season! Do you know the Harris Race Team or the Wisners? I really appreciate your information. We had trouble steering in the corners but we have way too much track down after u explained it. Hope to see more of your content and maybe see you at the track eventually!
Cool always wondered what mods were done to these sleds. Is there any benefit to have more cylinders (See you are running the triple)? I know they ran the vmax4 back in the day but wouldnt the extra weight up from make it harder to turn and not turn was well?
Great Info. Thanks for posting.
Thanks! I will try and do another one soon.

How much track do u want on the ice
I shoot for 7-9 bars in contact
The best Oval Racing sled was Bom bardier Formula 1 Ski-doo twin track 340cc 1980 & 1986 and the Alouette 1974 build and drive by Gilles Villeneuve...
Do they no longer race the twin track sleds (not vintage). They seemed so much more stable in the turns.
Thanks that was good .
can you do a video on what makes a drag sled a drag sled?
