- Free information no longer exists in the post apocalyptic world. The survivors are unaware that the ruling class controls the narrative.
I create a communication station using 1/72nd scale shipping containers.

As much as I'm a fan of the dystopian genre, I hope it never comes to fruition. Do you have scene you're wanted to see built into a diorama?
A space shuttle converted into an airship.

Could you upload the STL? love to build.
In our world, communications are also controlled by the ruling class. Great build!
Thanks for watching
Where the ruling class cuts out "misinformation" otherwise known as the truth.
The Last of Us 2 turned an american football stadium into a militia base with living spaces, cabins with beds, and a farm on the field. Today, the old stadium of Arsenal Football Club (Highbury) is now an apartment complex. It would be awesome to see a diorama depicting a football stadium transformed into a fortified community in a post-apocalyptic setting.
That is an awesome idea though the scale would be very small unless I just did a section
Saw you posted this morning - now looks like the Emirates was indeed post-apocalyptic.....FOR LIVERPOOL - COYG!!!!! 😅
This is incredible! Not just the individual elements and their composition brought together by your finishing skills, but also the 21st Century method of constructing this scene using computers, 3D Printers, and laser cutters/engravers; tools that when I first started model building in the mid-1960's would have been seen as fantastic as anything on "Star Trek."
Thanks for sharing this with us!
199th like.
I started in the late 70's and then took a break from 1998-2020 and boy... the whole hobby world had changed in those years. Thanks for watching.
Mate, that is awesome! Really love it! I love the containers. I'm planning something similar but in 1/35 scale.
I was thinking doing it at 1/35th but then the 40ft containers wouldn't fit on the build plate. Thanks for watching
Another great build 👍👍
Thanks
Looks great! Congratulations on 10k subs!
Thanks
With this build, I'm a new subscriber! Seriously considering learning 3D printing.
The 3D Printer just opened up so much options for me.
Very cool dio! And you are right about adding people, it brings life to the picture
Very important rule of mine. Thanks for watching
Great build, enjoyed watching
These are so great, love it!🎉🎉
Such an incredible piece!!!
❤😊❤
Thanks
Looks awesome mate!
Thanks for watching
I love this build. I am also fan of same concept. I love this build. Colors etc nice job. I am also creating similiar concept in my account. I am so happy to see someone in same area. Greetings from Istanbul.
Thanks from Australia
Man, that is amazing. Keep it up! Thank you!!
Thanks for watching
Congrats on passing the 10,000 subscriber mark!
Thanks
So impressive! Amazing art. I love seeing your work.
Thanks and thank for watching
These are so great, love it 🎉🎉❤
Thank you
First time watcher, great job! Will definitely watch more. One suggestion for the ladder...adding vertical supports would make it sturdier and is often seen in those kind ladder cages. 🎉
I agree and thanks for watching
Loved that covered graffiti detail
Thanks but it was a shame that it was a bit 'washed out'. Thanks for watching
I liked seeing all the containers together
Thanks
I like it. It's nice to see something post-apocalyptic that isn't utterly filthy and decayed. Your survivors know how to use mops and brooms and toothbrushes and such.
Minor quibble: a dish that communicates with geostationary comms satellites looks into roughly the same part of the sky, and doesn't need all that articulation. Your dish looks a bit more general-purpose to me and therefore ought to have an uninterrupted view of the horizon.
Yeah, shows you how much I know about comms dishes. LOL. Thanks for watching
Great looking build! The video was a lot of fun to watch 👍
Thank you
Another great build.
Thanks for watching
a very nice build 👍
Thank you
I thought this was going to turn into the best VPN ad of all time
LOL. Should have. Thanks for watching
Looks amazing
Thank
Cool I love it 10/10 keep up the good work😊
Thanks
great model
Thanks
Awesome job 👍
Thanks
always love your content
Thanks for the support
Hello, hello, hello scalemodelgeek now this is a new piece and it looks great 👍😃. Congratulations 👏🎉.
Thanks Cole. Took a little while but I got there
@@ScaleModelGeek that's an idea the invasion of the black holes.
@@ScaleModelGeek or maybe create a funny scene from caddyshack like Carl vs the gopher diorama.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 love it 😊😊😊😊
Thanks
Awesome work mate, makes me want a 3d printer even more…😊😊
The 3D printer were a game changer for me.
Congrats🥂
Thanks
I used it today already! My colleague looked at me... Hahahha.
To fix the bit with the home printed decals would be to get a printer that uses white ink. That would give the opaque backing that your decals need to show on dark, or strong colored surfaces.
There are a number of printers that do white but they are very expensive. Thanks for watching
Awesome =) Love from Sweden.
Thank you
Those too-long floorboards? Just say they're composite decking. PVC planks would fit the theme better than authentic wood anyway.
That's a good idea and I'm stealing that excuse. Thanks for watching
Very cool
Thanks
I really like the yellow modular pipe sections you used at the end. Can you share where you got the download or is it something you created yourself?
You can get them from Thingiverse. Thanks for watching
I love container homes, but the image is missing a man sitting with his feet up on the table while smoking. Are you from Australia? I subscribed!
That would have been cool and yes, I'm in Victoria. Thanks for watching and the sub.
Congrats on 10k! And that’s a great diorama. Where did you get the 3d files for the people from?
They were a combination of freebies from Thingiverse and bought ones from CGTrader
But whatever project you want to work on next is your choice.😁😊 I know you said you had several to catch up on.
I’d live there! How bout windows though to view the on coming zombies? Great job.
I was going to add windows when I was modifying the container files then totally got sided tracked. Thanks for watching
Looks a bit like a scene out of Simon Stalenhag's 'The Electric State'.
One of my faves and great inspiration. Thanks for watching
6:55 That happens to me when i was building a train, too excited to paint before glue it 😅
Yeah, I'm so keen to see certain steps that I jump others. Thanks for watching
well in our world, communications are controlled by the ruling classes too
Correct
epic!
Thank you
Very nice, but isn’t the stairs a little off scale?
Maybe but I did use a calculator to adjust the size
Great scene in the not to far off future!! Is it for sale?
You can edit parts of a STL in Blender? I did not think you could edit premade STL files?
You sure can. But there are limitations of what you can do. I'm still a newbie at Blender so people with far more experience can do a lot more than I could. Thanks for watching
Should have put a water tower up there. How they suppose to keep hydrated and flush the toilets?
Yeah, an idea for the next project? Thanks for watching
Nice project, thanks for sharing with us 👍
Can anyone say where to find the files for the containers and the pipe system?
Thingiverse
Great build with tons of details. Sadly the current ruling class does in fact control what goes out over the air/net. Looking forward to your next build.
The access to information that we have now is just amazing but sadly, it came with some terms and conditions.
the waterslide paper can be bought in a white too
I do have it in white and the problems I found with it is that the decal is quite thick and it's not easy cutting around it to remove the excess. Thanks for watching
I love your work its beautiful the best way I can tell you to combat cutting is digital die cutter like silhouette or circuit with your abilities in blender you could pick up their programs easily both of those companies have compact sizes that are easy to move and store @@ScaleModelGeek
Hello, how many of the stl files you shared and offered for sale on UA-cam were sold?
Links are in the description
Could you upload the STL? love to build.
Gave me fallout vibes
24:04 : )
Congratulations, your videos are getting a lot of views. I haven't opened my UA-cam channel yet, but I take you as an example :) What do you think are the reasons why your latest videos are watched so much :)
I guess it's because of the theme content I've selected
Time for pirate radio
Looking forward to that
What's next on your line of work? I did give you some ideas 💡 before like raise the titanic diorama and the backrooms.
Got a couple of cool ones lined up
@@ScaleModelGeek oh yeah.? Which ones are lined up on the list?🤔
@@ScaleModelGeek something automotive locomotive or airplane like or is it a bog seen. Or a scene from Mars attacks.
@@ScaleModelGeek I imagine you doing a space scene from sci-fi space films. Like contact, the day earth stood still, the black hole from Walt Disney in 1979.
@@ScaleModelGeek yeah... Hey that's probably something never been done before. You Probably never made a 3D model of a black hole with the star ship USS Cygnus flying into it with a space background have you l.
That's you on a government list now lol.
Again... LOL. Thanks for watching
I've seen a few pseudo tutorials of new people aproaching the hobby, and on the matter of decals... apparently, you and many others have not even research that there are two kinds of decal papers InkJet and Laser , and two options on each (total of four options) White backing film and clear or transparent film (because THERE ARE NO COMMERCIAL PRINTERS that print in white ink or toner !!!! ) that is why you keep complaining about the decals been transparent.... you went with that clear film paper, if you have used the white backing film decal paper -either for inkjet or laser printer- you would not have that issue, BUT !!!! you would have to be extra careful when cutting the decal, because all the paper has that white backing so if you do not cut very close or put your image on a little background color the white around the printed decal will show....
Really lame and sterile looking. Not very creative.
Thanks for your support
So basically what we have now....🤣
LOL. yep.
