Get the Lexus and modify / tweak to make it more fun and for content, stuff like installing Carplay and a new active exhaust etc. Also the Cayenne hangover is real and you need a pallet cleanser. Finally the lack of content for Lexus on UA-cam will help grow your channel

A Lexus pallet cleanser is a great idea.

Worse than the Cayenne? That’s brutal. Mine gets between 15-28 depending on use case.

I have a W204 C63 in palladium silver in coupe form just like the one you shared in this video in estate form. I’ve made loads of videos on it on my channel and also owned a 955 Cayenne Turbo which I made videos on too. I really like the idea of the ISF and XJR, they’re great for content creating too in terms of potential as they haven’t had much exposure. They both look fantastic and have beautiful soundtracks too. I may have slight bias owning my C63 for 4 years and have never driven the other two, but it would be the one I’d choose. Strictly the reason being in terms of the theatre, the event of driving it, and the build up to driving it! The initial start up and putting the elongated gear shifter into drive is just analogue, I love it all. The drivability everyday is so easy, if you feather the throttle then you could be mistaken for driving a regular C class with the ride not being too firm. But then you are reminded of being in something more special without having to tinkle with the accelerator pedal, by just looking at the bonnet haunches over the windshield, or the 200mph speedo with 6.3 V8 in the rev counter. (even though it’s a 6.2)
Then of course you have the relentless power with plenty of torque so you don’t need to wring its neck to make simple overtakes. But if you do fancy taking it up to 7K RPM, you have the most glorious soundtrack which sounds amazing at any rev range. The downshifts are just to die for, and even though the gearbox gets stick for not being the most fastest box in the world, it has character and I believe it suits the engines personality well.
I agree with the interior not being the most inspiring place to be, as it’s not too different to a regular C class. Although you do have bespoke AMG seats, 200mph speedo with different dials. That’s why opted for the two tone black and red leather with red leather on the door cards, to make it a lot more special. You can also get a performance package variant which gives you half alcantara on the steering wheel, or just buy a regular C63 and get the wheel retrimmed at somewhere like Royal Steering Wheels. Maintenance wise I’ve only had a small number of niggles, but nothing extravagant, just the basic maintenance. The C63 prices are quite low at the moment as it’s a buyers market, so in terms of value for money and pure theatre, I would opt for the C63. Having said that, the ISF and XJR are extremely interesting choices and would love to try them. If I had it my way though, I’d keep my C63 forever as I don’t think anything in its price bracket can come close to it’s entertainment/theatrical experience and daily usability apart from the exception of maybe a Maserati Quattroporte.
Sorry for the gargantuan message, but with you being a Turbo S owner and mentioned the C63 in this video, I had to get my pitch across 😆

Thank you for the comment! I think a C63 has real sleeper potential. Very tempting.

Mercedes C class - C63. Saloon. One on Autotrader at the moment - red one. Audi RS5 or RS6. I can tell you want the Aston though, because you're not even talking about the service costs - won't be much different to a DB.
