I'm surprised he didn't notice that in "Remember Me" Eminem says that he won't say "fucking" for 6 minutes, and in the whole next song he doesn't say "fucking" at all lol it's little consistency things like that that makes this album great.
I personally think that bad guy is a much superior song to Stan. (BTW HUGE SPOILER AHEAD JUST SO YOU KNOW DO NOT KEEP READING) They way Eminem develops Stan's little brother is so perfect and you feel so sympathetic towards him. Also, the last verse is phenomenal.
Nathan Shlapobersky the point of the begining of the song was that eminem was taking the role of stans brother, an up and coming rapper. This is why the flow is so poor and sounds so amateur
Oh and if you play Kim and then play 97 Bonnie and clyde, You get a crazy story line of him being with hailey, Yelling at kim, Driving her to the woods and killing her/ Going back to get his daughter so they can drive to the pier and drop off the body.
Amityville has one of my favorite beats in any Eminem song and Em's final verse is one of the angriest verses I've ever heard. It's always been one of my favorites.
My thoughts on the MMLP1 tracks that Rap Critic wasn't in to: Drug Ballad has a great beat and verses and is one of my favorites Amityville has a great beat and absolutely furious verses from Eminem but it could've done without Bizarre. Under the Influence has entertaining lines and a great beat, but the chorus could've been better. Bitch Please II should've been on 2001, but I still enjoyed it. Criminal was a great way to end the album and was absolutely hilarious. One of the most "holy crap, did he just say that?" songs that he's done Oh and I wish he mentioned "Marshall Mathers" because that song is great Awesome review overall though and I can't wait to check out MMLP2 for myself
In my family, I'm more of the musical instrumental side. I like rock, jazz, etc. My brother is the lyrical side, and a hip-hop, grime fan. And there's some crossover. One time, I asked my brother: "is it me, or is Bizarre kind of a shit rapper?" He's like: "Yeah, totally"
Wow. Wasn't expecting that rating for MMLP2 and I'm shockingly surprised. This is a real as fuck review. MMLP is my favourite and I personally think it's Eminem's best and I was nervous with MMLP2 but he did a fucking FANTASTIC job. The parallels, tying of loose ends, LYRICISM, and new bars he set were just absolutely outstanding. As he said himself, he wasn't trying to create a "sequel" so to speak but more so a revisit of that mindstate but in modern times and he pulled that off phenomenally well. I for one am glad that a reviewer as brutally honest, hilariously critical and openly opinionated as yourself recognized the effort Eminem put into MMLP2 versus holding it to an unfair standard against its predecessor.
What's funny is the deluxe tracks actually weren't bad lol Groundhog Day and Wicked Ways were excellent Desperation was funny and entertaining Baby had a nice flow Beautiful Pain was ok but got popular
Drug Ballad is a masterpiece! I agree about Bizarre... But i disagree about Stronger... it's an odd song, but it's all Eminem It's very Eminem - Marshall Mathers
+Robert Merriman It is, but it was underground. The Slim Shady LP was really the one that started it all. That's why many people call it his first, even though it's not
man your good bro. I been checking your posts out now for a month or two but checked out a bunch of your old work and agree or disagree you make valid points and very well articulated and no bias to. You just don't make a point you paint a picture for us all to see. Well done and thank you.
It’s incredibly refreshing to hear someone speak highly of MMLP2, and as my 2nd favorite Eminem album, and overall top 3 best Eminem albums imo, it’s amazing to hear the Rap Critic speak highly about this phenomenal album.
I thought I was insane for liking MMLP2 so much. I'm glad you gave your honest opinion and daring to say it was better than the first one. I can't verify this, but I think "Stronger Than I Was" was written about himself from Kim's POV. In that context I found an appreciation for the song. This whole album is a masterpiece.
The Way I Am explains the frustrations of the expectations of having to top My Name Is, while at the same time being considered better than My Name Is. The power of Eminem, people.
Y'know. If Eminem hadn't came up in the 90s, and instead in the 2010's, I dunno if he'd get as much recognition, considering the SJW community that prevails social media. If he released The Marshall Mathers LP today, I feel like every song would be criticized harshly for not being politically correct. That's why I think it's important that he came up when he did. I hear his music as a kid, and I loved a lot of it. Stan was one song that haunted me because I had never heard a song tell such an encapsulating story such as that. Listening to Eminem didn't make me a violent person like the media thought he would, because he was being real all the time. The Real Slim Shady was a song that I had a guilty pleasure listening to. I had grown up with metal, metalcore, folk, 70's, 80's, & 90's rock & pop. Rap wasn't on my radar. The Real Slim Shady made me think, "Wow, there's something out there that's not only provocative, but dope as fuck" I had never heard any other hip hop, besides some shit like Fat Joe & Lil Wayne - Make It Rain. I liked MMLP2 and his thoughts are very well planned out with the songs on this record, but I feel like the nostalgia combined with the raw talent that was eminem on drugs, it made The MMLP what it was. Despite liking MMLP better than the sequel, I do feel that Eminem is an even better rapper & lyricist than he was back then. He overdosed, learned to write again, and became a real different kind of powerhouse rapper that no one can seem to match with, white, black, brown, middle eastern, w/e. He's just that good.
i think mmlp dropping out fresh in 2016 would not be recognized at all. nobody would get shocked or get angry about it. simply because we got internet and we see fucked up shit all day long. i mean. eminem raps about coughing out a lung. well after all the videos and fucked up shit i saw in the internet. i wouldn't be shocked seeing something like this. so we became immune to this stuff. i bet you could rap about raping a little kid (oh he already did it i forgot) and nobody would care.
+JACC not so. Em can still cause backlash to this day. look how people reacted to his Lana del Ray bars in his cypher when in reality he was pointing out how fucked up it was that nobody cared about Ray rice hitting his girlfriend / wife until the vid came out. not too mention the social media backlash he received after his track vegas and the iggy bars.
Sjw community? I mean I do agree With a lot of what you say but rap now a days isn't politically correct at all. Even with Eminem he had to censor his lyrics on the first LP and now a days rappers say whatever the hell they want and it's whatever. Not saying clever, but they don't say politically correct things. What artists do you think that community is pushing because I'd be interested on who you're thinking of
Groundhog Day was a perfect way of storytelling and lyricism. he went 2+ minutes with the same rhyme scheme and did a lot of progression (voice changes over time to represent maturity, metaphors became stronger, etc). Beautiful Pain is one of the few bonus tracks that got more plays than most of the regular tracks because more people can relate to it.
Rhyme or reason with the sample of time of the season by the zombies...whatch’all know about that?! Love that he dug in the crates for that dope sample
bad guy spoiler alert: but u could have signed an autograph for mathew that's my little brother man he's only six years old fast forward 2013 he's come of age. not only was the sing intellegently written, it was perfectly synchronized in real-time. he was like 18-19 which was perfect to behave this way and have the ability to kidnap em. awesome song
One more thing, I used to be the person that just bought Eminem songs that he liked, now I filled up two, soon to be three, Eminem albums. I'm in the middle of listening the entire way through the Marshall Mathers LP. I just got finished with The Real Slim Shady, and I hadn't listened to the first fourth of he album ever. Now I understand why people listen to the ENTIRE album. I fucking love Eminem like my family right now. Also, right now I'm listening to Remember Me, and I actually like Bizzare's rapping. Also, they had a tidbit where he said "Six minutes, Slim Shady you're on.." Why does that sound so fami---- OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Listen to the Eminem Show too. That might be my favorite album from him. Infinite is also interesting since he had a totally different style back in 96.
I enjoyed every single song on this album, even Stronger than I was, mainly because I can relate to the lyrics. I feel like most people don't really understand the song though. Anyway, Eminem is the greatest of all time, and that is a fact. There will never be anyone who can rap better than he can.
Although I agree with a lot of the things you said and do absolutely love MMLP2, I can’t give it a higher rating than MMLP1 because the best songs on 1 are so amazing and (IMO) so much better than the best songs on 2. On top of that, Dr. Dre’s beats on MMLP1 are classics and I’d much rather hear those than the beats on MMLP2, not that those are bad they’re just nowhere near as good.
Stronger than I was, that song was a POV of Kim. He raps "cause u left and you took everything I had and left nothing , nothing for me". Eminem was the one who left her after they were married the second time in 2006. He talks about it in recovery on going through changes, fourth verse. He was rapping in Kim's POV of what had happened
I didn't like MMLP2 on my first listen through a few years back. I was new to rap back then though, and so Mr Rap Critic has inspired me to go back in time and relisten to it.
then aply subtitles to the original vid, not by reuploading it on your chanel and basicly earning money for plagiarism, so this vid will be copyrightstriked because this is 100% against YT rules and your like... yes but the work i put in (translation) makes this video original... (me): NO IT DOESNT you fuckin rusian! + actualy im latvian and every 1/2 is rusian here and i hate the way you all behave fuckin drinking vodka left and right, same with smoking and fucking... you want to rule the world and still you dont use much of the land. the car Lada is bad. the society is bad AND i have to live betvean these motherfuckas... true fact just look it up on pornsites... and i cant complain or ill be wanted and im not old enough to even do anything.. so im in a worse situation then your now if you like it or not (-dam this turned out to be a long coment-)
FINX Bruh, i do not monetized any of videos, i do not get anything, because i know that i am just a translator, plus format of subs that i use does not apply to UA-cam videos. I have never said that i am RC, i have never made any money of these videos, if you will see ads, it is because of third party claims from labels.
OH MY GOD. Rap critic I stopped your video at 15:20 and listen to the whole song of bad guy. At first I thought eh this is bad, but then I realized the who song is himself murdering is old self!!! Jesus!!!! Jesus!!!! I paused it and tested up it was amazing
+Kefka Palazzo "Matthew and Stan's just symbolic of you not knowing what you had until it's gone" "Eminem killed by M & M" "I'm the hindsight to say I told you so" go listen to the song again. The lyrics are deeper than face value
Rap critic you are the shit, I've watched every one of your videos and this I would say is one of your most accurate via opinion. But I don't think you gave enough credit to bad guy it literally summed up the whole of the first LP in my opinion its almost as he summed up the whole first long play into one song.
Maybe you should do another review of MMLP2 in a few years to see if it's not as great as you remember just like the first one then do another comparison.
Stronger then i was is a good song, I'm pretty sure if anyone who had a ho who played them an wasted their time would get the meaning an emotion he puts into it!.
Criminal was phenomenal. I guess if you listen to the whole song from start to finish it might feel fatigued, but on its own it may be my favorite song on the album, not counting the obvious singles like Stan
You should review Beautiful Pain and Wicked Ways from the deluxe version of this album as I think they are some of the best songs on this album (and I know you often say that you dont like the bonus tracks)
Rhyme or Reason had a very heavy sample of Time of the Season by The Zombies just like how So Far... had a very generous sample of Life's Been Good from Joe Walsh.
I think he does those things he wanted edited out in Rap god to say you remember all this stuff I was king when all of this happened and I'm still king now kind of pointing back to history to show how long his reign has been.
Glad to hear a positive opinion on the album, I liked it also and was confused of the lack of respect for the work he put in. Like it or not it is a great piece of art in my opinion👍🎤🏆🖕
Amityville 3rd verse is just... so fucking good. "we dont do drive bys we park in front of houses and shoot and when the police come we fucking shoot it out with em too!" so gold man. mmlp 1 is better then 2 because its more uncontrolled, way more artistic and feels much less shoved down ur throat, love both though!
Great thing about Em: different songs differet people calls best or wack on same album and one song can be great for this folks and sucks for others..genius
My sister didn't get the "Went to Burger King, they spit on my onion rings I think my karma's catching up with me" line in So Far and I honestly nearly strangled her
Love RC but Drug Ballad more ;) I agree that Stronger sounds out of the place - but, face it, not everything Em does is to entertain, he breathes his life onto the tracks. So, it all the the approach we take while listening. I enjoy more sincere Marshall. Likewise, he did with 4th verse on Bad Guy and with Headlights... Awesome album...
i always saw stronger than i was as a kind of spiritual sequel to hailies song only its about kim rather than bailie where he tries to sing although he admits he cant lol but thats just me
Rap critic "rap god is supposed to be a single, but I don't expect a music video"
next couple months, music video comes out.
hey looking boy!
+Sudev Sen So gay I can barely say it with a straight face lookin boy
I get a hell yea from dre lookin boy
+Mr.Sheepington basically boy ur never gonna be capable to keep up with the same face looking boy
Stephen Curry Jr *same pace
as I heard 'Bad Guy' the first time, I just freaked out. that's just so clever, to continue a well known story
Same it's amazing
I know man, Stan's brother gets payback on em. OK I said too much. Probably one of Em's best songs out of all his albums, I think.
+Mike Greco I ranked all of his songs and I ranked it his 10th best song
Bit high compared my list, but still pretty good.
what is interesting about that track, is it sounds like a bitter ex plotting revenge and suddenly it warps to Stan's aftermath
I'm surprised he didn't notice that in "Remember Me" Eminem says that he won't say "fucking" for 6 minutes, and in the whole next song he doesn't say "fucking" at all lol it's little consistency things like that that makes this album great.
Holy shit I've never noticed that. That's crazy.
yea i know! when i noticed it, it blew my mind lol
actually, it was exactly 6 minutes. check the times
"I will still be able to break a mother fuckin table.."
and he didnt said fuckin in the next track as well.at least to the point that it reaches 6 minutes
Criminal is one of the best songs he has ever made. It is important in the album because it provides the thesis statement for the album.
Jire Mukawa more of a conclusion
And Tyler is barely mainstream.
Kill You was a thesis statement
Criminal is a fucking great song
yep.
I think he likes Criminal, but it should've been put before Kim
Makijah 420 criminal is one of my favourite Eminem songs, also, he skipped the kids?
Shit bangs so hard. Know every line in that song hah
That wasn't on the uncut release unless you got a limited special edition. It does however replace Kim on the clean version
'Bad Guy' was probably the best song to open up the album Marshall could have chosen.
Yep
That last verse is mind blowing
The last verse is the verse that Eminem would hear when he dies
I personally think that bad guy is a much superior song to Stan. (BTW HUGE SPOILER AHEAD JUST SO YOU KNOW DO NOT KEEP READING)
They way Eminem develops Stan's little brother is so perfect and you feel so sympathetic towards him. Also, the last verse is phenomenal.
Don't think you can spoil the premise of a song off a 3 year old album lmao
+Abdel Ahmed You never know, maybe some one living under a rock finally found the album and decided to give it a listen... maybe
+Mike Greco like me lol
am 56 I thought Stan had a much better atmosphere and delivery. Bad Guy had no flow to me.
Nathan Shlapobersky the point of the begining of the song was that eminem was taking the role of stans brother, an up and coming rapper. This is why the flow is so poor and sounds so amateur
Oh and if you play Kim and then play 97 Bonnie and clyde, You get a crazy story line of him being with hailey, Yelling at kim, Driving her to the woods and killing her/ Going back to get his daughter so they can drive to the pier and drop off the body.
at the end of Kim aren't the sound effects him burying her?
+Jamie Lloyd it's a chainsaw
+Archer The Beast I listened again and it certainly didn't sound like a chainsaw
+Jamie Lloyd he's dragging her through the woods and tosses her in the trunk
that Kim song was crazy lol
I have no shame in admitting that I like Amityville.
Same. I think I'm the only one who likes Same Song & Dance. :( It's my favorite song.
Amityville has one of my favorite beats in any Eminem song and Em's final verse is one of the angriest verses I've ever heard. It's always been one of my favorites.
+Madison Burch Same Song & Dance is a great song!
I love amityville
+Madison Burch Same Song And Dance is one of my favs to. What a freakin song. One of the only ones where his accent adds to the song.
At 32:30 it almost looks like he's checking over his shoulder for the mob of stans sent to kill him.
Lol
nice point!
DerMeisterXZ lmao
He probably was
I thought so too!
My thoughts on the MMLP1 tracks that Rap Critic wasn't in to:
Drug Ballad has a great beat and verses and is one of my favorites
Amityville has a great beat and absolutely furious verses from Eminem but it could've done without Bizarre.
Under the Influence has entertaining lines and a great beat, but the chorus could've been better.
Bitch Please II should've been on 2001, but I still enjoyed it.
Criminal was a great way to end the album and was absolutely hilarious. One of the most "holy crap, did he just say that?" songs that he's done
Oh and I wish he mentioned "Marshall Mathers" because that song is great
Awesome review overall though and I can't wait to check out MMLP2 for myself
Venomous Vince I thought the under the influence hook made the song good.
Also Kim had an amazing beat.
Stronger Than I Was is written from the perspective of Eminem's wife Kim. Don't know if that makes you like the song more...
"I like Fun"
I think most people do, RapCritic.
Not according to the internet.
In my family, I'm more of the musical instrumental side. I like rock, jazz, etc.
My brother is the lyrical side, and a hip-hop, grime fan.
And there's some crossover.
One time, I asked my brother: "is it me, or is Bizarre kind of a shit rapper?"
He's like: "Yeah, totally"
That seems to be his niche and I actually liked him because well I am fat to, but yeah he's a shit rapper.
sarah peros | I read that with as much delivery as he could master, and it sucked.
zedze I know but it’s funny
Eh.
I really liked bitch please 2. Whether or not it should be on the album, I don't care, I like it a lot
Rapperjosh13 it was gucking great
Sounds like a 2001 leftover song
Great song
@@lm6827 yeah but I like 2001 even more than MMLP so...
@@lm6827 it sounds like a 2001 song, a great one tho. It ain’t leftover tier
Wow. Wasn't expecting that rating for MMLP2 and I'm shockingly surprised. This is a real as fuck review. HE JUST MISSED MARSHALL MATHERS!!
Personally, Headlights was my favorite song from MMLP2.
i like that and love game
It the most emotional song on the album. Brings a tear to my eye everytime I hear it, much like Tupac's Dear mama.
I can't stand the singer
Brainless was my fav
bezerk
rapgod
badguy
so much better
brainless
evil twin
Watching Daren fanboy over Eminem for thirty-five minutes kind of restores my faith in humanity
Groundhog Day man that had some of the sickest storytelling and rhyme schemes
Ted Bundy also that sick horror-flick beat
I fucking love that song
He should put it in place of stronger than i was
"It was offensive but witty and well put together." True of everything Jeremy Clarkson and Frankie Boyle have said too.
I like Bizzare because he sounds like he doesn't know it's offessive, like it's normal for him
Yeah, it's like "I said something offensive? Then everything I say at home should be monitored.
LOL yes
nintendojunky12 Lmao why is that funny
I love MMLP, but that Ken Kenif sketch can go to hell
Why
Oh, fuck yeah!
No... it can go in the closet
lol its so funny
it's funny because it is so random. Plus, his point was to piss you off so if the skit pissed you off, mission accomplished.
What's funny is the deluxe tracks actually weren't bad lol Groundhog Day and Wicked Ways were excellent Desperation was funny and entertaining Baby had a nice flow Beautiful Pain was ok but got popular
That Groundhog day flow with the beat is sheer genius
I'm going to attempt to spell phenomenal with my eyes closed
Eminem
Rmginnuhak
Failed fucking miserably.
I get it xD
But let me try it:
pyehunsbao
pjwnijtbr; WHAT
phrnominaj
that was pretty good
Drug Ballad is a masterpiece! I agree about Bizarre...
But i disagree about Stronger... it's an odd song, but it's all Eminem
It's very Eminem - Marshall Mathers
I thought Infinite was Eminem's first album, not The Slim Shady LP...
+Robert Merriman It is, but it was underground. The Slim Shady LP was really the one that started it all. That's why many people call it his first, even though it's not
+Robert Merriman hes talking about official studio album
Still waiting for Infinite to be on Spotify
SUGAR NIPZ it is a good album
Eminem's first album was actually called Steppin' Onto The Scene from 1990
The verse in stronger than I was, was one of my favorite verses on the album.

Criminal is the one of the best songs
"Stronger than I was" says "it was November 31st today" this shows that he's just saying don't believe everything I say
he seems so happy it's making me happy
I thought I was insane for liking MMLP2 so much. I'm glad you gave your honest opinion and daring to say it was better than the first one.

"Oh now he's rapin his own mother🙄" lmfao
I kind of liked Amityville, the energy is great
You should review the 8 mile rap battles
Glad to hear someone else liked the album. So many haters.
If you've ever been through some relationship shit you will understand stronger then I was
I think So Much Better talks about Rap itself. Listen to it with that mindset and your mind will be BLOWN. Well, not really but it's a cool idea
you are 100% correct
swampthing94 Its wierd how so many people don't see it.
I love that song because of its amazing beat
Relapse is my favourite Eminem album.
Please no haterino
I love it as well maybe my 3rd favourite
When I watch a lot of Rap Critic reviews, I always forget how hyped he can get, when he speaks freely...
Rhyme or reason with the sample of time of the season by the zombies...whatch’all know about that?! Love that he dug in the crates for that dope sample

not only was the sing intellegently written, it was perfectly synchronized in real-time. he was like 18-19 which was perfect to behave this way and have the ability to kidnap em. awesome song
i believe Stronger Than I Was in written in Kim's perspective but also switches to Marshall's
FINALLY!!! Someone else who hated Bizzare's rapping!!!
Rap god has a music video now
Man I thought I was the only one who preferred the second one
I actually listened to this album as my first Eminem album and I still loved it

StoneCold TLawstin k
The Slim Shady LP, MMLP, Eminem Show, Recovery & MMLP2 are all must listens. Encore and Relapse... Eh. If you want.
Elliot Glum I've already listened to all of them.
Bizarre wasn't on Remember Me. He was on Amityville.
Personally I loved stronger than I was.
I honestly kinda like "Stronger than I was" cause it's just so damn weird and uncharacteristic.
Woah, coincidentally I'm watching this exactly 2 years later
I agree with you in Amityville but that last verse is one of my favourites!
Definitely a perfect album, we have to remember that has to cater to more people than the next rapper so his content and sound is more broad
I enjoyed every single song on this album, even Stronger than I was, mainly because I can relate to the lyrics. I feel like most people don't really understand the song though. Anyway, Eminem is the greatest of all time, and that is a fact. There will never be anyone who can rap better than he can.

"Bad Guy" is great, and I love the final verse, but I love "Stan" more because of Dido's verse, and the dark and grim atmosphere.
The sample on so far is from a joe Walsh song
I didn't like MMLP2 on my first listen through a few years back. I was new to rap back then though, and so Mr Rap Critic has inspired me to go back in time and relisten to it.
Drug ballad and criminal are good songs, just because of their place in the album doesn't make them bad
Yo, Rap Critic, what do you think of Astronautalis?
I am not a rap Critic, i am just a translator, just search rap critic on UA-cam and his official channel will come up instanly.
then aply subtitles to the original vid, not by reuploading it on your chanel and basicly earning money for plagiarism, so this vid will be copyrightstriked because this is 100% against YT rules
and your like...
yes but the work i put in (translation) makes this video original...
(me): NO IT DOESNT you fuckin rusian!
+ actualy im latvian and every 1/2 is rusian here and i hate the way you all behave fuckin drinking vodka left and right, same with smoking and fucking... you want to rule the world and still you dont use much of the land. the car Lada is bad. the society is bad AND i have to live betvean these motherfuckas... true fact just look it up on pornsites... and i cant complain or ill be wanted and im not old enough to even do anything..
so im in a worse situation then your now
if you like it or not
(-dam this turned out to be a long coment-)
FINX Bruh, i do not monetized any of videos, i do not get anything, because i know that i am just a translator, plus format of subs that i use does not apply to UA-cam videos. I have never said that i am RC, i have never made any money of these videos, if you will see ads, it is because of third party claims from labels.
nu ladna ladna
FINX Shut the fuck up
OH MY GOD. Rap critic I stopped your video at 15:20 and listen to the whole song of bad guy. At first I thought eh this is bad, but then I realized the who song is himself murdering is old self!!! Jesus!!!! Jesus!!!! I paused it and tested up it was amazing
Teared*
No, it's Stan's little brother who kidnapped him.
+Kefka Palazzo "Matthew and Stan's just symbolic of you not knowing what you had until it's gone" "Eminem killed by M & M" "I'm the hindsight to say I told you so" go listen to the song again. The lyrics are deeper than face value
+extrafreshhh no stand little brother is called Matthew Mitchell M AND M
+The Nooby Gamer HOLLY SHIT
you forgot Wicked Ways!
That's on the deluxe album
It's a shame BC it's such a good song
Dennplayz Groundhog Day is also really awesome
Best song on the album
Wasn't that on the deluxe version, though?
Rap critic you are the shit, I've watched every one of your videos and this I would say is one of your most accurate via opinion. But I don't think you gave enough credit to bad guy it literally summed up the whole of the first LP in my opinion its almost as he summed up the whole first long play into one song.
I know what you mean about drug ballad with the subject, but his flow on that song is one of the best on the album for sure.
Bad Guy was better than Stan but not The Way I Am
Lol
+MrGladBEASTftw way I am was one of the best
Bad Guy is better than Stan
bad guy isnt better than stan. there are different songs, stop comparing them
+MrCheckHammer you never compare songs?
Emmanuel Makoba no i do not. its like comparing 2 great paintings. both are ver good but are pieces of art and cannot be compared
eminem verse in Amityville was crazy sick.
Rhyme or Reason had a very heavy sample of Time of the Season by The Zombies just like how So Far... had a very generous sample of Life's Been Good from Joe Walsh.
Stronger Than I Was was just EMINEN singing for 2/3 of the song and it was meant as a joke, then he actually raps the last verse.
I think he does those things he wanted edited out in Rap god to say you remember all this stuff I was king when all of this happened and I'm still king now kind of pointing back to history to show how long his reign has been.
and then rap god gets a music video
Спасибо за перевод)
Imo
1.mmlp 1
2.mmlp 2
3.eminem show
4.recovery
5.sslp
6.relapse
7.infinite
8.encore
Marco Paciolla switch eminem show and sslp and relapse and encore and I’d 100% agree
Every time he says "this that and the third" it speeds up
Glad to hear a positive opinion on the album, I liked it also and was confused of the lack of respect for the work he put in.
You don't usually see RC gush about albums this much
thank god he waited 28 minutes to tell us that he wasn't including clips in the video 😑
the suspense was killing me
I like stronger than I was.....dont kill me
I think, "Stronger than I was" is very good😐
Its just the singing that makes most people not like the song
+Hazel Ninja his singing is amazing lol. Just like hailie's song
***** Yes
***** Yah
***** Ja
Didn't you miss the six last songs of the album?
These last six songs is a bonus tracks, and maybe he just wanted to review only major part of the MMLP2.
oh yeah, I noticed that too just now. Sorry for that.
+Даниал Садриденов even still, evil twin is great
+Fabian Sandfuchs those tracks you're talking about are on the deluxe version of MMLP2. and i dont think rc reviews deluxe versions.
+Даниал Садриденов I liked BITCH PLEASE II
Great thing about Em: different songs differet people calls best or wack on same album and one song can be great for this folks and sucks for others..genius
My sister didn't get the "Went to Burger King, they spit on my onion rings
I think my karma's catching up with me" line in So Far and I honestly nearly strangled her
Love RC but Drug Ballad more ;) I agree that Stronger sounds out of the place -
but, face it, not everything Em does is to entertain, he breathes his life onto the tracks. So, it all the the approach we take while listening. I enjoy more sincere Marshall. Likewise, he did with 4th verse on Bad Guy and with Headlights... Awesome album...
"So Far" sample's "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh.
Glad you saved these my russian brother
i always saw stronger than i was as a kind of spiritual sequel to hailies song only its about kim rather than bailie where he tries to sing although he admits he cant lol but thats just me
you are right about bad guy
I think Stronger Than I Was may be mocking the song Kim, or just mocking songs like Puke complaining about Kim in general.
