This guy clearly has a ton of knowledge.
Did you recover from your break up ?
Sharing is carying
This man sleeps 4 hours every night
Battle harderned
No doubt about that
With the internet, you have all the information, but what's more important is how you interpret that information and turn it into real hard $.🙏🏼
From 02:04 to 03:35 - ABSOLUTE truth ... You have to motivate yourself. You do everything yourself, and you report to yourself. That's all there is, and that's just ... it. No one gets after you if you don't record your metrics, and know your numbers. You are unto yourself, and everyone thinks they want that, until they are actually in the position to do it ...
No worries! hope they are useful !!!
Great interview... if only the audience were more recepetive to Anton's humour
Mulch Diggums They too broke to pay attention
Its quite dry and subtle
@@kgalanet 😂😂
I think they did, the audience part of microphone isn't active always
They don’t look like a fun bunch. Just boring finance students
As a professional trader I find this amazing.
"Seek out your own information and start up for yourself."
"You have to want to get up in the morning"
I feel like this guy has been spying on me, lol.
manictiger me too
Incredible interview, I don’t get how the audience looked so dead with such excellent information
haha i think these kids are trying to process what he's saying because its so contrary to what they was led to believe about the industry...
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. But I guess it is just gob-smackingly good and they are stunned by the details
They are paying attention
I reckon blue-shirt guy in the front row probably goes to parties and acts like top shit :)
And why have you made this assumption.
it;s written all over his face. Just focus on the important content: the speaker
you're focusin on the wrong things bruh lmao
Lukas Strautins hahahahahhaa🤣🤣🤣
we hate these guys ....dont we
what you get paid is a recognition of your talent, great point Thank you
Yes. In facts Dick Fuld got 500mln from Lehmann for the great job he did there.
anton is an amazing human being. very intelligent
This guy knows what he is talking about. Expert knowledge about the state of the financial sector and some very sound advice. (basically don't be a trader unless it's in your blood - if you don't know the answer, then it's not).
Anton sir, you are an inspiration. Thanks
hows the trading going, pal?
I watched this entire interview 5 times (3 times today). I learn something new every time. What must I do to become enrolled in this academy that Anton has created!?
What a legend... I would like to meet him...
SELF STARTER = CHANGE AGENT = HIGH PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS
theres both,. market Makers have prop books also and there is a split off function of pure 100% prop desks...
I wish this guy would be my mentor.
Young Robert California so confident.
This guy is on another level.
Yeah, he’s a great speaker. Could listen to him all day.
@@redwingsfan3621thats his experience talking.
Im into trading but to call it innovative, and entrepreneurial is stretching it a bit, what you essentially do is to bet on the market and seek information about the different industries.
No problem!
If you want it fucking take it, don't let emotion get in the way people.
the rapist's epigraph.
I am in the process of doing that.
Godzilla 日本 what a paradoxical statement
Great! me too!
i think prop shops trade differently then Anton. I have purchased his course, it has been great.
This man has inspired me to take up investing at
glad to hear it! go make some money ;-)
As a 22 year young trader this is eye opening
i've been trading since i was 16, bust 4 accounts....I am now 19, 2nd year of uni, turned 1k to 7k (and increasing) using technical analysis/price action. No indicators just candlestick charts. Looking for work experience at any institute. Cheers.
Hey!
You made your comment 4 years ago.
Tell us how are you doing now? Do you trade crypto?
trader0x absolutely he will
same here but in 2019
What happened,you still trading?
And now? 9 years later?
Reminds me of the snobs twins in 'The Social Network'
That question at 3:40 took ages
Very interesting Anton, thanks. Inspiring.
The best so far
This interviewer is awesome. He actually listens to Anton.
Accurate trend prediction is key to successful trades and clearly that's no beginner thing. I don't know much either but I make a fortune trading through him and his market experience have profited us both a whole lot
Can you tell the number
I become the fan of this guy
The money in trading is in providing the platforms
Appreciate this
Why do you say that? Personally I have seen all sorts of weird and wonderful people and characters make fantastic traders and be consistently profitable. there genuinely isnt one type of person that is good.
is being innovative creating derivatives?
sea of happiness lol
Is creating derivatives being innovative? Since the core of being innovative is creating something new, the answer is yes
When they were first devised they were seen as the purest of innovation... something that created billions overnight from nothing or even from negative money...they completely imploded though because they became so successful they canabillised everything around them they were so completely unregulated...because the banks didn't know how to regulate them, that they needed regulation and because the ratings firms didn't understand them and were afraid of the damage they knew they were going to do. But yes, the guy who invented them, Michael Milken or something like that his name was...he was seen as a magician for fabricating them.
Very good interview. Insightful
Great
I hope you will put more interesting video in the future, very inspirational
Well done!!
Never give up😀
Hi Friends, can you arrange videos of his seminar for those that will be attending his seminar, to share with us that are far and unable to travel there?
nice video, smart guy ,typical briton
No this is not typical ... most of them are thick as pigshit!
Very good open and honest talk, thank you. Question - can retail traders make money with Elliott wave or is that it a red herring?
nope you can't with either. you can't just use TA to trade must combine it with FA.
just look at the drop off of views from the first video to the last. LOL no one wants to actually try anymore.
so it is difficult to differentiate market makers from prop traders? So all traders serve both of these roles at all time? Or are there traders only dedicated to making market for clients, and prop traders are separated from them?
You are very clever I totally agree with your comments ;)
I have a question. "do you have to slick your hair back if you want to get into trading?"
Doesn’t hurt 😂
I'd pay to just meet this guy, and meanwhile there's people dozing off in his presence 🙄
liked! ;-)
the blue shirt guy with an arrogant face in front will make a real lousy trader...
haha
Superman?
😂😂😂
u can tell that he's been practicing that face
Stupid comment. He pays attention and asks meaningful questions
That's dope, all the information is out there and the critical part is knowing how to interpret that info and turn it into real HOT DOLLARS 🤑🤑
2:00 to 3:36
So the question to all these students is - "Why do you want to become a trader? Just to make wads of money for the sake of it? Pure cash hoarding lust? Or do you actually want to go and build funds for actually benefitting society and funding worthwhile societal projects?"
Let's not be naive if you want to get into the financial market.
The guy is,Im guessing from what he said about 34...You can certainly agree that trading burned him out. He looks 10 years older. Too many nights out with brokers! :P
Can someone explain to me what he meant at 7:14 , when he said that he thought market was going down. Being short when everyone is long, you dont get paid at these places ?
Ro SJ
hedge funds make money by either going long on a position or going short. Meaning they either make money off the stock going up or going down respectively. When he said you could be trapped in a short while the bigger funds go long, at that point in time the market had lower volumes so large institutional buyers could force price changes easier. Regulations make that hard to do on anything but penny stocks now, and those are terrible investments in most cases due to their lack of fundamentals. I didn't bother explaining some of those terms because watching a video would probably help you more.
I have a hunch that it is prob a blast to get drunk with this guy
This guy had millions in bonus before the 2008 crash. Hedge funds are the most profitable.
Quality
why all these videos are published in parts?
+Marco Picos Sol most likely a way to obey policy or copyright laws
Spotted a Singaporean/ Malaysian.
Want to see another series of million dollar trader
Give anton a rennie or gaviscon so annoying keep doing that
hey sabdow,
where are you trading in australia?
👏👏👏🇧🇷.
Thx for sharing this👍🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thought Boris Becker was a tennis player...
That teaching program is like the famous turtle trader of the 70’s. Dennis something..
whats a boarding house mentality?
D Vu I’m inclined to suggest it’s regarding the mindset of working long hours. In an earlier video he spoke about working from 5am till 8/10pm most weekdays. So like a student who boards at school he boarded at work. Mentality of pretty much living at work.
Only guessing here though 😊
Wish I was doing an economics or business degree now haha
Here you go, my son, 10 Mio $! Learn to trade ! =)
I know it’s a six year old session but the intelligence level of the students at City looks dismal. You have a guy who’s been there and done everything there is to be done in the industry and most of ‘em look bored out of their minds. And when they DO come up with questions they’re going with the ones an A levels student who aspires to get into the finance world, would be ashamed to ask.
As Anton said, your CV has to stand out when applying to that 10,000:1 job. Safe to say none of these guys ended up at Goldman Sachs...
What uni did you go smarty pants? This is cass business school which has plenty of alumni at Goldman dumbass
You talk about being smart, judge people only on whether they look intelligent, and then completely miss the fact that Cass has loads of alumni at Goldman.
If you start trading let me know, I’ll short everything that you’re long on and make a killing.
And they are hanging in their seats... Its like he said himself, everybody has a degree now.
Genius: Travelling the world, I was bored.
3:10 - 3:27
same information... they just get it faster :P
Anton is a hottie!
so,,lets say a stock price rises 100%..does that mean you've doubled your money?
+studmalexy you need a copy of stock investing for dummies
eddy pozo I do..I also need some straight fcking answers in lehmans terms
+studmalexy if you liquify it then i guess you could say that. that's not the right mentality to have though.
Keith Cannon so how exactly do you make money then?
if you buy it at $10 and it goes to $20 you doubled your money stocks are a liquid asset meaning its easy to sell them and when you cash out you make money but its better if you invest for the long term but thats just my opinion some companies also pay dividends which are profits distributed to share holders
Lol at this point I don't know if my wife will ever know what I do
This guy is always drinking water in all the videos.
Better than Bear Grylls
Elliott wave is a joke
I like how he talks about "....talented..."
Talented at what? Playing with money? You don't need many skills to become rich in finance.
talented in reading and understanding large amounts of information
Ha 2020, JPM>Goldman Sachs
I wonder what his real accent is like, surely this can't be how he normally speaks. I've never met anyone who speaks like this.
I wonder what your real name is. Surely Forrest Orange can't be it. I've never met anyone with a name like that. Jk jk.. I don't think his accent is that uncommon really. That's how they speak in Liverpool where he's from.
It's a British accent. A North English one.
The Chooser - Private school educated because its not what I'd call a Liverpool accent I've ever heard.
I heard my friend said that liverpool accent is the hardest to understand
Why can't Americans speak as eloquently as Brits do
🔴⚪️🔵
Gender diversity quotas have really failed for this audience.
If Anton really knew anything about "risk" he'd be trading his own account and not Goldman's. Anton is really just a secretary.
Do some more research. Anton been trading his own account from 16-21 years old and 29 years old to present day. He worked for the banks from 2000-2007. Since then he trades his own money within the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management.
He was the guy on million dollar traders you idiot. I think he understands risk lol
+Kevin Watch it again !!
Kevin that was absolute nonsense
Kevin go to the back of the classroom
