I'm incredibly impressed. That song is difficult on guitar, let alone piano. It would be really interesting to hear a version specifically for the piano.
it is actually way easier on piano because it is easier to play chords and you do t have to worry about hybrid picking and harmonics and shifting is also easier
it's not just the strings of thw guitar but also technique (flagoule) used by polyphia that create a lot of jumps in the melody. this also changes the texture and is used extremely well from a stylistic point of view
Hey! You should check out Mattiaskrantz, he does some crazy stuff with pianos, like replacing all the mallets with tuning forks. Or using real hammers to hit the strings, or replacing all the piano strings with guitar strings!
That's awesome, I'm surprised you have the capacity to focus that hard for 30 minutes to the point you're able to learn that quickly. Most people are lucky to give 10 minutes toward distraction free diligence and investigating, cycling memories then building memorized dexterity. You should study quantum physics now and build a time machine... Jk. Maybe you should make a video about your actual focus and learning process. There's an actual process with specific habits and thoughts that maximize your ability to concentrate and work through the learning process.
Love this!! I have played the piano for 6 years now, and I'm trying to improve how I play by ear. I can normally tell what notes are in the melodies pretty well, but I struggle with chords. Any recommendations would really be appreciated.
This is exactly what I would recommend..listen for the bass notes, work out the scale from the bass notes so you can narrow down the possible notes it uses…then work out the chords in the scale that use the bass note and you will only have a couple of options 😊

It's a lot lot lot lot lot harder on guitar
Piano's like 20x easier to play complex tracks on.

Hi! I like a lot the style of Polyphia. Do you know if there are any pianists with a similar style??
I’ve never really been a fan of piano, but you make it interesting and fun to watch
How can one not be a fan of piano?
You haven't seen what a piano virtuoso can do. Also the piano repertoire is so huge and much much difficult than every guitar pieces ever.
Great video as always 💪

The piano is one of the greatest instruments ever invented by humanity. But some songs are just not meant for it... That was a great job though!
How in the world?? lol
have you ever thought of doing Anime songs
I haven’t…I’m too familiar with many anime songs, but if you have any suggestions I’m happy to check it out 😊
@@matticawood do you mean you've not heard any anime songs
JFC
You need a way to hit harmonics 🙃
I do!! I think maybe it would be possible to do harmonics on an acoustic piano 😊
