Oops I made mistake again 😂 It's "November 22nd" (십일 월 이십이 일), not "21st" at 3:48 I'll do it better in the next time!! Thank you so much for watching this video though! And thank you so much for learning Korean with me♡♡
I can’t wait for native korean numbers! Those are so much harder for me but you explain these things so well that I’m sure I’ll know them perfectly in no time ^-^
I like the sound of Sino Korean numbers and find them easier to deal with, but Native Korean numbers....ahhhhh...they're really hard T-T...anyway, if we're talking about numbers....I just sound as a robot trying to say them...A sentence like this: "Nov, 25th 2017" would give me a really hard time 😂😂😂
감사합니다 선생님, ive been learning numbers for a while but I never understood the concept after watching your videos i finally now was able to learn korean numbers and move on 찐자 감사합니다 💗!
I realized it sounds like 오만!! Hold on IMMA joke about it What does the numbers say when it's shocked? 오만! Or I'm not sure if they made a joke about it-
Now I get it!! This was confusing to me but you made it easy to understand!! Thank you again!!! You don't even know how helpful your videos are to me... Thou I can't get correct the pronunciation
You make it easy. I went through the Defense Language Institute, in Monterey, CA. When we were taught numbers, the teachers (Korean natives) never told us when to use Sino-Korean and Hangul numbers. The only thing they taught was that "objects" require pure Korean (Hangul) numbers. I wish I had you as a teacher back then. But, Mr Kim not only taught me Korea, he also had to teach me English because our public schools did not teach us English very well. So, I learned English in a Korean language school. I am a very poor speller in English, but in Korean, since I learned it as a young adult, I am a good Korean language speller.... BTW, I took 6 college level classes in the English language discipline.
@@EdwardRock1 First of all Eduardo, it is spelled Monterey and it is just south of San Jose/Gilroy, CA. Maybe you should go back to school and finish 1st grade? i love your videos thank you , thank you , thank you so much. you are the best i hope that you can make in the future more videos about basic intermediate advanced GRAMMAR please , please, you are the only one i can understand really easily.
Hi... I'm just studying Korean language just start today... I'm started with the numbers... I just notice after counting to 10 every thing add to sip (10) specially starts with bowel letters like (il, i, o) sip become sib like 11(sibil) 12(sibi) 15 (sibo). My thought was right? Or wrong? Kasahamnida
Yes you are correct. It is true because for numbers 11-19 they are all 10+1-9. So for example 12= 10+2, so it is just said as ten two or sibi. For numbers 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90, they are all a number 2-9 multiplied by 10. So for example 20 is 2 times 10, so it is just said as two ten or isib. Also if you are just starting to learn Korean the first thing you should learn is the Korean alphabet which is called hangul, because that is how the all Korean words and numbers are written. What you are using is called romanization where the Korean alphabet is translated into the roman alphabet, which is the alphabet english is in, but people that speak and write Korean don't use the Roman alphabet. Hangul is only 24 characters long and it doesn't take long to learn, there are also many good UA-cam videos that you can watch to learn it (that's how I learned hangul). In Hangul the word kamsahabnida which means thank you is written as 감사합니다. 감=kam 사=sa 합=hab 니=ni 다=da
I wonder when she going to publish her book ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I really love 민지 언니 she's the most prettiest UA-camr I've ever met! (P.S I RARELY COMMENT GUYS I SWEAR!!!)

@@AsiaLoverBoy_87 you could be a whole lot nicer in how you say this. if not. go watch something else or make your own video. she's here helping us learn. and friendly and free of charge. the only thing I would wish for is when she is giving the examples to slow down. but other than that, i don't see anything wrong w her video. and i'd rather watch a native speaking person than not because the pronunciation is on point.
@@AsiaLoverBoy_87 Be nicer? Minji is a very pretty and kind person? Do you know she’s trying to teach us another language so in order to do that she has to speak English and Korean, so she can teach us which is totally awesome! But u could have choose something nicer to say.

I'm using Chinese numbers (since I've already learned them) to remember the Sino Korean numbers.
1: 일 (il) : 一 ( yī)
2: 이 ( i ): 二 (èr)
3: 삼 (sam): 三 (sān)
4: 사 (sa) : 四 (sì)
5: 오 (o) : 五 (wu3)
6: 육 (yuk): 六 (liù)
7: 칠 (chil): 七 (qī)
8: 팔 (pal): 八 (bā)
9: 구 (gu): 九 (jiu3)
10: 십 (sip): 十 (shí)
Same!!! I am trying to learn Chinese so I can understand Korean more
Same, noticed the similarities right away

Korean says ten + three.
