  • This calculus video tutorial shows you how to find the derivative of exponential and logarithmic functions. it also shows you how to perform logarithmic differentiation. It contains plenty of examples and practice problems that involve differentiation techniques such as the power rule, product rule, quotient rule, and the chain rule.

I doubt you're ever going to read this, but thank you so much for this! I am a college freshman in Calc I and I took Calc in high school but have forgotten a good chunk of it, especially logs and exponential functions, which we learned after going remote because of the coronavirus. I was very confused upon relearning the derivatives of logs and e and didn't find my school's recorded lectures to be much help. This video made me understand what to do completely! Thank you so much! The work you do for others is amazing.

@@sanopann1896 hey i hope you got help w this, but basically he wants to simplify it, & there's this thing with fractions where you can multiply the top and bottom by anything (as long as you multiply the same thing in the top and bottom, it doesn't change it at all. it's like multiplying by 1/1). so you can choose something to conveniently make the fraction easier to work with, like this. when you do [(1/x)*(x/1)] you end up with 1*x/x*1... simplifies to x/x, or 1 :) so then the whole problem is easier to manage

WoW!!! I feel so greatful to you and I don't even know how to tell you on how thankful I am right now. Like 1 hour ago I didn't know any of this shit and I was miserable and doomm!! But after I watch this video and solve the problems along the way with you. I finally understand and know how to solve most of the derivative now!!! THANKS YOU SO MUCH!!
(now I just need to make sure that I forget this stuff)
