The Crow is The WORST Movie Of 2024

- "The Crow 2024" is a disappointing and poorly executed film that fails to do justice to James O'Barr's iconic graphic novel. Despite a talented cast, including Bill Skarsgard and Danny Huston, the movie suffers from a nonsensical and disjointed script, shallow characters, and unconvincing motivations. The plot, which centers around Eric and Shelly's drug-fueled relationship and subsequent deaths, lacks the emotional depth and coherence of the original, leading to a confusing and unsatisfying story. The film's attempts at action and dramatic moments fall flat, with violence that feels unearned and choreography that is lazy. Overall, "The Crow 2024" is a frustrating mess, offering nothing new or redeeming and ultimately betraying the spirit of its source material.

I know I said "library" when I meant "lobby" sue me.
I can't believe Bill Sarsgaard turned down a pennywise spin off for this abomination of a movie 🤦♂️
I wish he would have said no to both
i guess im part of the 1% that really liked this movie 🤷♂️
I guess so
Yep, I agree with that statement of yours. The Crow sequels fail, too, but at least they fail in an over-the-top way that at least tried to embrace the look and corniness of the comic. It's like it's ashamed to have anything to do with The Crow, or comic books in general. In fact, when you add one, the Brandon Lee version is still the only one where he chooses to kill villains, and he's not the one who was accidentally killed by real guns during filming because they were recently banned! How does that-- How does that happen in three sequels and one reboot you're trying to make better?! All I can say is there's a right way and a wrong way to do dark, gritty comic book material, and this is definitely the wrong way.
but it looked really good in the trailer, i like the mindless violence and the crow outfit he had on but hearing the story makes it sound kinda all over the place and boring, still gonna watch it
Yeah unfortunately that stuff doesn't hold a lot of weight with me
I would totally agree with this statement, the worst movie I've seen in the theater so far this year.. I wanted to leave, the crow with Edward Furlong was better than this garbage
People are trying to say Borderlands is worse...I don't know because I don't have any interest in seeing it but I can't imagine it's this offensive to the source material.
I had really high hopes when i saw Bill Sarsguard was the lead role. So sad it turned out this way.
I don't think even Willem Dafoe could have lifted this script
@@breakdownsbodybags yeah scripts like this are almost impossible to save.
I love him. You can't judge him on this one role. Or like do you just not like him? Have you seen Boy Kills World? Absolutely amazing. The choreography was jaw dropping. Like people had to train for that. Not to mention castle rock, or hemlock Grove. He killed it as the new IT.
I think Skarsgard is a great actor, which is why this script is so bad, it even makes him look like a bad actor.
@@francissena6221 he wasn’t ragging on him as a actor, just that even good actors can be bad when they’re working from a bad script. Bill is an amazing actor.
Yep! Me and the misses turned it off halfway. Just didn't grab us
@@TzoHill I applaud you for lasting that long
@@breakdownsbodybags 😂 appreciate it lol
Just goes to show yet again thay good actors are absolutely capable of making bad movies.
Oh absolutely. You wonder what went through Skarsgard's head when he read the script.
I.cant watch this now because they were not righteous characters 'so the whole point of the crow was a avenger to come back to kill the bad guys right 'missed the point by making them the bad guys whatca waste of time This is a insult to brandon lee on my opinion
Rupert Sanders should retire as a director
This is definitely going to be a black mark on his career
It wasnt that bad. I didnt like the girls acting too, but it could be because i watched it in german synchro... idk maybe i liked it just because of bills jacked body😮😅🥰
Are you telling me this movie is worse than borderlands?
I haven't seen Borderlands yet, and I don't intend to lol
I just rewatched the 1994 movie a few months ago, so when I saw there was a remake coming, I was curious and eager to watch it. Guess I'm scrapping that plan, just as with Borderlands. Even the snippets I saw convinced me there was nothing in this movie I could be interested in.
I just feel bad for good actors when they get screwed like that.
It makes me so sad that this might be somebody's first Skarsgard movie and they're not going to know how good of an actor he actually is
I loved the movie❤
That's great!
It's not Dark so you don't go for your face, you go for your throught. But everything is concentrated there. I would think sudden darkness would shock you out of it.
Are you saying your hands don't know where your mouth is if it's dark?
