Last one we attended was in Lethbridge Alberta where the CF-18 piloted by Captain Brian Bewes hit the dirt, during practice. UA-cam has amazing videos. The aircraft was still sitting at the crash site when the airshow was held a few days later.

For me, personally, it was great to have an airshow back on Vancouver Island again. I heard there might be another Comox airshow in 2026.
