Introduction To: NFE Certified Electrical Professional

The National Federation of Engineers for Electrical Safety (NFE) is currently in the process of developing a Certification Scheme tailored for Electrical Safety Professionals (ESPCS). This initiative seeks to provide certification for professionals engaged in various aspects of the electrical domain, including Electrical Design, Selection, Erection, and Verification. A foundational understanding of the National Electrical Code of India 2023 (SP-30) is a crucial element within this certification framework. It's worth noting that compliance with NEC 2023 has become a mandatory requirement under the National Electrical Safety Regulations 2023.
The ESPCS intends to establish precise competency criteria for three pivotal roles within the field: Electrical Consultant, Electrical Installer, and Electrical Safety Verifier, often referred to as an electrical safety auditor.
We extend an invitation to professionals who are interested in this field to review and offer their feedback on the following draft documents:
