@@AsparagusVideo Well that’s the thing. Entertainment Tonight is on in the evening. 7pm. Hence the “tonight”. So that’s why I asked if it was night school. If you watched it during daytime then you didn’t see it when it dropped. You saw it afterwards
Yeah, I remember this trailer like it was yesterday. It was shown at the midnight premiere of Star Wars: Episode II. The sold-out crowd went crazy for this trailer. There was shouting, whistling, clapping and foot stomping during the trailer. I knew then that ‘Reloaded’ was going to be a box office hit despite its R rating.
Respectfully, you're thinking of the teaser trailer, which was shorter, had less footage, and featured Rage Against the Machine. This is the full trailer that came out only a couple of months before the release of Matrix Reloaded. All that said, you're right, everybody went apeshit after seeing the teaser before Attack of the Clones :)
I love how certain movies reveal everything within the confines of 2-3 minutes. The matrix trailers always only made everyone feel such an infinite rush of adrenaline, and an undying absolute need to watch that movie, right now. I fucking love this movie and this trailer. It’s perfect. Also, I remember the dvd menu for this movie, was the absolute best I’ve ever seen.
Still happens? Name me 5 movies that came out in the last 10 years that has given us something we haven’t seen or been innovative like the matrix trilogy
@@coinstudiosmoviescartoonsa1978 I know, that's why I was asking the OP comment since he said "it still happens". I wanted to know if I missed a few good movies
Hands down the best movie trailer I've ever seen. It's the only trailer I've ever seen where people went crazy when it was shown at the theater. People were cheering and screaming. People actually stood up and applause when it ended. Unfortunately, I don't think movie lived up to the hype. But the trailer was really something special.
Hell, yes. I remember watching this trailer hundreds of times when it came out. I still watch it sometimes. It's definitely one of the most exciting trailers ever. Especially the last part is so insanely exciting. The music, the editing, the way the dialogue is edited to the music. Just... perfection. BTW, I just discovered the track they used, it's a Rob D track > "I'm Not Driving Anymore - Rollo's Mix / Instrumental".
I don't remember the film being this blurry. I thought it was cutting edge technology at the time of the release. I've seen older film footage that looked better than this.
The Matrix Reloaded is such a outstanding and incredible sequel on so many levels as it was just constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end. The story, performance's, music, action sequences, special effects, images, direction, and cinematography was spectacular and phenomenal. It was such a fun rollercoaster thrill ride as it kept you on the edge of your seat. You have a good time with this movie. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍💯👍😎
I’d personally argue that Reloaded is where the series started to get too full of itself with its convoluted script (see Architect scene). That and they made Neo way too invincible. In the first film, one agent was considered essentially a one-man army. They were insanely fast, strong, smart, and would just respawn in the nearest plugged-in body. It was actually considered an accomplishment when one of them was bested and yet, in Reloaded, Neo is able to solo 3 with no issues. He also takes on an army of Smiths which he then escapes by flying away when they’re too much when he probably could have done it at any time. Seriously, how are we supposed to get invested in the action if we know nothing can actually challenge the main character? Even if Revolutions is much worse film, at least it gave us multiple scenes where Neo was in legitimate danger (train station, fight with Bane Smith, and final fight with Oracle Smith).
I'm here to stress exactly that. that special atmosphere, when the music itself is getting under your skin. Also, what is wrong with some CGI scenes and why they look worse than in Reloaded?...
@@sidolanters1394 Obviously, there were also three people, who noticed it. You are not amongst them. Do you know, why your eyes hurt? You’ve never used them before.
you know what's crazy my brother and I went to the literal only showing of the animatrix at a cinema near us, it was us and literally one other guy they showed THIS SPECIFIC TRAILER before the animatrix started and you're telling me they used music FROM THE ANIMATRIX in this?!!? my mind hurts
Watching this back now I think it's a shame how much of the movie they actually show in this trailer, too many spoilers and clips which would take away from the actual scenes in the movie
I remember, I was fucking 9 years old or something and wanted to see this movie so badly in the theatres, so I begged my older brother to worm my way into it.
They didnt announce this trailer was coming. It hit in theaters out of nowhere. People went legit NUTS. You would have thought Jesus himself appeared on screen pointing out the holes in his hands. There wasnt a jaw not dropped. "WHAT?! WHAT. No FUCKING WAY" all across the theater. Now a friend tells me his experience was a little different, it was dead silent but at the end of the trailer the whole room applauded. Before UA-cam and Facebook and countdowns to trailers. Ah those days
The Matrix Reloaded received far too much backlash. I thought it was very good. Perhaps the sequels should have been one film and more concise. They were never going to be as good or live up to hype of the original but Reloaded was better than most give credit. Part of it's dislike is the focus on multiple philosophical exposition, which I'm all for but they slowed the pace whereas the original was a perfect balance of narrative, character development, exposition and action. They also introduced too many extra characters for the sake of it - they felt forced, unnecessary and not in tune with the first film, especially if you didn't bother with the side-quest content. Morpheus effectively becomes a side note as a consequence... I understand that they were trying something unique and bold at the time by entwining a game and anime series into the mix but this greatly affected the pace of the films. Still, they are better than people claim but not a patch on the original.
Yes. The new one is slightly wokified and the story is so bad! And that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am a huge fan of The Matrix, and even I was heavily disappointed with that film. Thankfully, I can block it out of my head 👍
