@@rico300zx It was awesome. The class was phenomenal. The A300 ran great. Only issue i had was a week mag tube spring. That caused FTF on the last round. After day 1 I removed and stretched the spring which cured the issue. I've sence replaced the spring with a Wolff spring on Tim's recommendation and haven't had any further issues with the gun. I absolutely love it.
@rico300zx I did man, it highly recommend the class, I learned so much. I don't remember where I got it from, I think directly from Wolff, but you can just Google "Wolff 12ga tubular shotgun spring" they are universal. You just have to cut it to size, start with 12inches sticking out and adjust it from there, it's really simple to do.
I acquired mine in gray mid May. First 2 tubes I ran I had a last shell misfeed. Only 2 problems I’ve had and it seems to be a reliable “go to” in my opinion. Great review
Tim in your 2000 round vetting do you tolerate malfunctions and be OK with it,how many malfunctions is ok ,do you tolerate a break-in period if the manufacturer recommends it?
My a300 is murder on recoil it does not have choke tubes but after 5 shots my should was bruised I let my soon shoot and it bruised his shoulder I think there's a barrel defect it feels like the choke is to tight in the barrel I read that they tightened the choke up in that barrel I haven't tried buck shot yet I was useing federal birdshot from Walmart my 940s shoot perfect recoil
Hi, can anybody tell me the difference between improved the cylinder that this gun ships with and the law enforcement version where there is no choke and why one would be better than the other I’m not talking about the option of being able to change chokes I’m just talking about is the improved cylinder better than no choke
Handguns are designed for the rim to slide into the extractor from underneath as it feeds from magazine, shotgun extractor has to hop over the rim every time
The price of the tiger stripe keeps climbing to crazy amounts. So much so I had a offer to trade a 1301 with a Nordic extended magazine straight across. If I didn't already have one I would have done it..... perhaps. It does look pretty awesome.
Can any of y’all fighting shotgun alumni tell me why one might port load and then move the hand under to close the bolt? In lieu of just closing from dropping in over the top and then closing? Thanks guys.
Take eight , what , no it never did take eight , only seven in the tube Of anything type 2- 3/4". Funny hearing him say, not sure about it 🥱, THEN , BLOWS EIGHT OUT AT LIGHTNING ⚡SPEED, HAHAHA 🤣😂🤣. NICE , I'D SAID..ITS WORKING PRETTY WELL ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡❤
I absolutely love watching this man. When I see him in the thumbnail I automatically click on the video to hear what he’s got to say. Absolute legend.
TFB already put the Patrol through a 500 round test, and it passed with flying colors. Awesome shotgun
Had mine for 2 months. No issues. Getting great groups.
I liked how while reloading you keep your eyes on the target. Good training for everyone. Other training tips were a learning curve for me, thanks.
Very true!
Bought the a300 and absolutely love it.
good choice semi-auto shotgun how much you buy your Beretta a300 ultima patrol?
@@benignobismar5942 1100. I have the limited edition tiger stripe. Not really what I wanted but now I'm glad I bought it
One of my favorite shotguns.
I just got one and can’t wait to bring it to the range, thanks for the great review!!
Great review Tim. Be sure to let us know how it runs after you get it broken in.
We will do a longer term review
@@TacticalResponseCrew yes please!!
My A300 felt a little harsh on recoil and I put a limb saver on it now it shoots like butter smooth.
Which model on the limbsaver did you get?
I'll be bringing my A300 to Fighting Shotgun in AZ. Can't wait to run it through the class!
How did it go?

@@CodyAtherleythanks for the reply, I bet you had fun! could you drop a link to the mag tube spring your talk about for me for the A300?

Same! I had a failure to fully eject on my second tube, no issues since.
Great video, Tim. Always good to see you.
Do a comparison video with Beretta 1301 vs Beretta A300 vs Benelli M4
Definitely can tell the difference in the recoil with the mixed rounds at the end of the video.
Thanks for the review Tim, it was most excellent.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Tim. See you soon brother.
Great review. Thanks tim. Gonna be looking for this at local shop. Hope to do class with you again soon.
Awesome shotgun. Definitely getting one.
Another great shotgun video by Tim
I picked mine up yesterday. Can’t wait until my days off.
awesome👍
Tim in your 2000 round vetting do you tolerate malfunctions and be OK with it,how many malfunctions is ok ,do you tolerate a break-in period if the manufacturer recommends it?
Yes, I will tolerate a few malfunctions, no gun is perfect, but after 2000 rounds you will know if it's a good to go
I found some chokes have a different number cut outs on the end, you can see that tell you what choke you have installed. I believe.
Love you Tim!
Great Video Tim
Tim thank you for the review. Awesome review! Could you do a review on one of your AR-15's?
I believe you can ghost load the A300. If you know for sure, please let me know. Good video.

Great content per usual. You guys rock!!

Excellent video! I’ve been wondering, Why is ok to port load a shotgun when it’s bad for the extractor on a handgun?
Handguns are designed for the rim to slide into the extractor from underneath as it feeds from magazine, shotgun extractor has to hop over the rim every time
What are your thoughts/experiences with the Stoeger m3000?
don't own one, and to my knowledge I haven't had one in any of my classes, so I can't comment on the reliability of that model
Looking forward to the AAR after it gets run through Fighting Shotgun a time or twelve, assuming that's the testing you're planning on.
You know it
it would be nice for Berreta to include a hard copy of the owner's manual rather than expecting you to download it from their web site.
Great video
Beretta A300. Another semi auto shotgun I wanted to use in the future.
Shotgun looks solid
You can say that it is better than 1301 for the patriarch. What are its + and - points?
The Tiger Stripe one sure looks tempting!
That’s a limited run and they’re not doing anymore.
@chucktshoes well that's unfortunate. Well, can always rattle can then 🤣

Would you own this or the mossberg 940 ?
This
@@TacticalResponseCrew That seems to be the consensus. Mossberg's are great...if they're pump-action.
I want one so bad
Does it come with a plastic case likecthe 1301?
💪💪💪👍👍👍 love it sweet
👻 load it and see how it goes with it.
Does fine with it
Why do they call it an A300 patrol when stamped on it is A300 ultima?
🤷♂️
2000 rounds. Just when you are ready to trust gun the gun is about to fail.
👍🏻👍🏻
This gun will hold 9 rounds with a ghost load.

He said multiple times "but I shoot shotguns". Then he said "1600fps are the hottest slugs that I know of". Hmmmmm.......
So he's guilty of not knowing everything? jeeze, what a crime
