- Nobody on youtube would ever be crazy enough to attempt such a video. That's why we did it. Everyday we will upload one video - for the entire week. This was an insane amount of work to put together even if you can't see the effort behind it very easily. Hope you enjoy!
We rendered those weapons ourselves pulled the data right from the game. You can't find them in this quality anywhere else.
We intentionally left out some of the slap-on designs which are essentially the same just with a different tint. 197 refers to more or less different looking designs.

Teostra bow: A crown-like front emulating its horns, with the struts resembling the wings. Flaps of membrane wave behind it. The quiver is akin to a volcanic crag.
Great Jagras bow: An elaborate strut decorated with its claws and mane. The quiver resembles the glutton's maw and belly

Even though I use insect glaive most of the time, I just know that Kushala glaive is a squid.
Damn the bow models are so detailed. More so than other weapons I think
Thanks for using my favourite village theme. I clear MHFU using only bow. It's a shame they didn't use the older design for Proudbow and Rathian Bow

Insect Glaive hell yeah
I’m currently doing a bow build on a new account to see if I like it, as I’ve never been a fan of ranged weapons. For farming, however, I’m just using a defender charge blade(it’s just easier and quicker). I have to say, it’s been pretty enjoyable so far figuring out what’s best for what monster and where to aim and everything
TBH bow is more like close ranged weapon than it looks like
crazyalun yeah. I have to say I HATE the range on it. If you know the monster move set, it’s not too hard to space yourself adequately, but with a monster with a big hitbox or unpredictable nature it’s a lot harder.
Bow main here. Positioning is always the key to be a good bow user, especially when you're hunting in a group.
Although yes, the range is kinda wonky at first but you'll get used to it the more you fight particular monsters with them.
@@lightning116 one of my favorite moves using a bow is showering them with that overhead shot and watching them get hit over and over again. I don’t even care if it only hits for one point each, it’s just fun.
@@songbird6414 Ah the arc shot. Sometimes you can get 2 points of damage off of them. And K.O. damage to knock a monster down, but they must hit the head repeatedly for it to work obviously.

With all the talk of the slap on designs, I don't think the new designs get nearly the love they deserve. My top 3 favourite insect glaive designs are all 5th gen originals: the Odogaron, Zinogre and Valkhena glaives.
Haven't noticed the Guild Palace Bow yet. Looks very nice. :D

This game gave me so many good memories, I am sad too see Monster Hunter: Rise not coming to PC tho
Same, I don’t wanna buy a switch just to be able to play that game. Oh well, mhw is so good I’ll probly come back to it again here and there once I’m done grinding fatalis.
Me too but I understand why they make it Switch only. Monster Hunter is already a great portable game since the portable/freedom series and since they bring it back again to handheld (with Switch being the only good handheld for now), I bet MHRise will make many sales, especially in Japan.

@@timklafke4712 there was a leak that suggests capcom could be planning on releasing rise on pc six months after the switch release. I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high though since there’s nothing like an official announcement yet.

Frostfang Barioth is my favorite of the new glaives but fatalis's glaive holds a special place in my memory
The glavenus and the fatalis insect glaive designs are my favorite. Just made my fatalis glaive today and for some odd reason it's giving me the stink eye. Lol
I dont use bow but capcom couldve really done something cool with the blackveil vaal hazak bow. They couldve made the bone parts vaals skull bones (theyre arched like a bow shape)and couldve made the string out of decaying flesh that unravels when you pull the string and they couldve even lined the body of the bow with varying sizes of spores and made them blow out effluvium when the arrow was fired. Im just saying that it was a missed opportunity.

It's a brand new bow. Part of the USJ master rank event that used to be exclusive to Japan. The high rank version only had the longsword.

My favourites are Shara Ishvalda and Yamatsukami (from FU) because I love the sun shape that both bows have.

You can't sell it.
Once you beat Behemoth its in your inventory forever, kind of like the charm Geralt gives you to use against the ancient leshen.
