For this video we will take turns revealing the first letter of each starter pokemons name. Then we will have to choose a mon based on that information alone. All pokemon have randomized movesets and abilities! Thanks for watching!

How about randomized starters but you can only tell them what region a pokemon is from?
They’ll always pick kanto for the small chance of getting the starters lol
They’d for sure never pick Johto

I think that’s a sick idea, but would regional forms count as the regions form origin Orr when the mon was first released
For mons like scyther/eevee, you should let a wheel decide. That way, you can avoid picking the type with the most advantage and still keeping the "random" theme.
Nah scyther should always be evolved to scizor because that’s it’s fully evolved form. BST doesn’t change that. For branch evolutions like eevee, you should choose the evolution as soon as you’ve picked the Pokémon. That’s the reward for picking it. Also, we can’t have a wheel for all the branch evolutions out there
@@rileyp3707 That makes sense. It is much simpler if you think it that way. I just thought that a wheel can add more fun and challenge since you are taking a random evo. Also getting mons with branch evos are pretty rare, its not like you can get branch evos all the time.
also if that lizard pokemon ever shows up you go by its gender to see if its able to be fully evolved (since only the female versions can evolve) and then its randomly up to luck

That moment was a win for Chillin no matter what he chose. He would’ve either gotten Charizard, a mythical Pokémon, or a Blastoise. No bad options.

You should do this again, but also provide the primary typing for each so you have a chance of figuring them out! For that one you shouldn't fully evolve.

Been loving these videos for ages! Not sure how technically difficult it would be, but it'd be great if you could get the randomizer to only pick from abilities that aren't double-battle-only and Pokemon-specific (e.g. disguise, stance change, etc). Way too many 'mon end up with abilities that just don't matter, and battles that hinge on an unexpected ability, like flame body this time, are the best!
I feel like... If we evolve Rhydon into Rhyperior, we should only do the same for Scyther and Scizor. Because they both require held items and a trade to be evolved. Sure, it goes from Speed/Atk to a Tank... But if it can evolve further, that's the rules right? MAX evolutions(evolve as much as you can) despite the state changes(because it will always change)
I think the point is, that Scyther and Scizor have the same base stat total.

What if you catch 9 pokémon and tell the other on for example the ability or the best/worst attack and the other one has to choose from that? I think that would make a really interesting battle!

Idea: both players have a box with Pokémon,have 10 empty spots in each box. Each player takes turns choosing a spot in the box. If they pick a Pokémon they can take it or skip up to 3 times.BUT if the person picks a empty slot they get forced a Pokémon from the box. No skip available for the forced Pokémon. You can fill the boxes according to your own rules as you see fit.

you guys need to implement a fave's clause for your verses challenges. If a mascot is an option in your choices, then let them have it as a fave. Even the Kaizo challenge lets you have your fave!

You could make a video similar to this but you decribe the mons. For instance, its the first pokemon (could be bulbasaur rhydon, arceus or mew) or , its body is hidden (tangela, cloyster, mimikyu, crustle) would be interesting how you describe the mons hehe
Cool idea for a vid is randomize all the pokemons stats along with the moves and abilities and of course randomize the Pokémon :)

the person who sees the pokemon can choose to say the first or last letter of the pokemon with out telling the other if its the first or second letter
or
the person chooses if they want to hear the first or last letter
or
do what ever you want to do :)
Since you guys get a lot of mons with double battles moves and abilities maybe just a good old fashioned doubles battle with a twist.
Next time....
Randomized starters with random agility and moveset according to their type but we pick one ...based on their
'real ability ' .
In other words... you just have to reveal the real ability...instead of first letter of their name...
You should do a randomizer with this exact same concept (1 letter per mon) but also 2 truths and a lie
Chillin gets squirtle, if I was him I would've been like, "Guess he's my fodder" and then I'd let QuickGG kill my Fodder and say "Charizard is better"

Random starters, two truths and a lie, but every mon has Weakness Policy
Here's an idea too, catch up to 10 pokemon with masterballs by doing Rock Paper Scisors with an random emulator to decide the catch, then max evolve them in any way and use TMs to learn the moves that you want to learn (it would also be more exciting if you use an random legendary encounters file) and then fight.
Nah roll to evolve them or not

You should do a blind auction style pokemon, have 20 random pokemon, you have a $50 limit and you put blind bids on any of the 6 pokemom you want.. and if you both choose the same one, then the highest bidder gets it and if only 1 person puts a bid on it, he gets it

Fun fact: this was suggested by a viewer from the Pseudo legendary vs Legendary video
(Challenge idea) You both spin a wheel once, getting a random type. Then you use 10 master balls and 4 skips to make a team.Dual types are allowed, leveling and move tutor are also allowed, Overworld encounters allowed, No held items, no dynamaxing, the point of the challenge is, you both get a random type from a wheel randomizer then you proceed to catch 6 Pokemon and make the best team available, and then battle it out and see who comes out on top!

Have you messed around with rearranged stats or random stats with same base totals? it can make some pokemon turn into absolute tanks or glass cannons.
It be cool if you guys do this with a mulligan to choose one of the other two
