Has anybody ever had a max raid Poké break out of the ball?
"Why it did so much damage now?"
Well each time raid den pokemon lose all of the shields, they get -2def and -2sp.def, so you do more damage as the battle progress (unless you fight against Contrary pokemon in wich case they get bonus 2sp.def and 2def).
Also you cannot 1 shot raid den pokemon in the post game - they will always have shields and all you can do is reach the point of shield activation, then break the shields and repeat.
You can actually knock out a pokemon even when it has a shield up.
You can, but you still can't one shot post game raids, cause Pokemon simply don't do enough damage through shield even on lvl 100. (Maybe if you try some gimmick strat with boosting to +6, lower defends etc. but def. Not with one clean hit.)

Chilln Play in case you didn’t know gigantimax Pokémon are the only raid den Pokémon that you can fail to catch until crown tundra probably
Yo would love to do a challenge with you one day. Doesnt even need to be a video. Pokemon has become a bit dull and there is only so many times you can nuzlocke or restart xD

You can capture raid den pokemon 100% of the time UNLESS they are from "promoted raid dens" then your best options are repeat balls (if you already had that pokemon in the dex) or dusk balls (because appearently raid dens count as inside of a cave) and this will give you about 30-35% chance to capture so you may still fail just like you did with G-max Coalossal there (ultraballs are actually worse, just so you remember).
For chillin and quick GG:
If a pokemon does nothing or almost nothing to a raid pokemon that means it is going to activate the shield
FYI fellas, when you break all the raid mon's shields, their defense stats drop harshly. That's why towards the end of the raids you start hitting so hard 👍🏻
I love how whenever a gen 6 or 7 Pokemon comes out, you guys never know what it is or does lol... You guys should do a challenge on Sun and Moon so every pokemon u come across is like that lol.

I’ve legit never seen a Pokémon not get caught in the raid dens. At least it’s never happened to me so I didn’t think it could happen either for some reason lol
Catch rates are reduced in dens by a pretty significant amount. Most pokemon with lower catch rates just become auto catches but some of the higher rates still have a chance of failure

18:18 Omg, I laughed so hard when Chilln totally underestimated Wishiwashi... until it used its ability. And with "laughed so hard" I mean exhaled through my nose slightly harder than normally ofcourse. Edit: Chilln, on the off chance that you read this: play Pokemon Sun/ Moon, first trial on the second island.
Dude its bad though it has the worst stats of any pokemon and its ability doesn’t make it much better

I think it's 620, but that still gives it a higher BST than base-form pseudos and non-Arceus mythics, as well as some legends and megas. It's Schooled more often than not, so it doesn't make sense to say it's bad just because of Solo Form.
You could do a challenge when you only know the moveset, not the Pokemon. They will be revealed in battle (dunno if it's possible :p)

The enlarged steelix is actually how its normal size should be. I'm kind of annoyed by how small onix and steelix are made nowadays

You have a 100% catch rate for any Pokémon that is not promoted
Actually, you have 100% catch raid even for gmax pokemon as long you're not online and the pokemon is not part of the promo raid. Coalossal was part of the recent rock type promo.

It only did a little bit of damage to the steelix because it's next shield was about to go up
You did more damage after the shield went down because their defence stat lowers after every shield break

Lol I'm pretty sure only GMax Pokemon can escape, QuickGG. Also the shields have pre-set placement and will stop any excess damage if you haven't reached them yet

Gmax has a high chance of escaping. I usualy just throw pokeballs at everything else. I think I've had maybe two fail to catch that weren't gmax. Also damage stops when the shield activates. A level 30 can withstand a level 100 attack. Each time the shield breaks, their defence falls so the next attack does more damage
Nope shield still lets damage through, just not nearly as much but a lvl 100 would one shot a lvl 30 even with shield, and a lvl 1 could one shot a lvl 100 with shield up (I know there’s no lvl 100 raids but go with it) and it’s cuz the lvl 100 could be a shedinja

To my knowledge, I might be wrong, there are damage gates in place that prevent anyone from getting an 0KO on Raid pokemon. :/
There is and it all depends on the star rating.
Its nearly impossible to one shot anything past 3 star due to the barriers. Honestly i dont think it is. If im wrong correct me.

Pokemon in raid dens have 100% catch rate unless it's a promoted den or you join someone else's raid battle. The raids usually rotate out the gigantamax pokemon that appear in purple raid beams

just got an idea for a vid! have a pokemon with false swipe and a whirlwind or roar if possible, and use a random number generator to see which move you get to use, maybe a couple of other cheese moves too to add to it. love the content guys keep it up!

Even though QuickGG won he should have taken that Perrserker. I mean Tough Claws with 3 of his moves getting a boost from it plus he could have D-Maxed him out and got attack boosts with the fighting move also water would have not been a issue for him like it was with Steelix.

If I remember correctly, with raid battles the capture rate is based off the species. The type of ball doesn't effect catch rate. If I remember correctly.

The damage in raids only goes till the next set of barriers. If you are fighting a raid and the raid pokemon has no sets of barriers left and you have enough damage it will ko it. Thats why quickgg. Also dusk balls have increased odds for catching in raids due to it counting as being in a cave.
i don't get why you guys are freaking out so much, I caught 90% of my den encounters with the normal Pokeballs

Yeah Wishiwashi is a great meme. Regular form he is THE weakest pokemon of any gen with only 175 base stats. Even Magikarp is stronger at 200. But when Schooling he is 620 putting him on Mythical levels. So him being knocked out due to hitting the wrong move is definitely the biggest upset of this video.

In single player non promoted Raids you have a 100% chance to catch the Pokemon with any Pokeball
The pink light in den means it is a rare Pokémon
That's not true it just means its a special den that will drop more items and rare ones too. I've seen some shitty mons in these pink dens but the rewards are nice

The next battle should be eggstravagansa! Link Trade with your fans for 15 eggs after all the trades commence, hatch all the eggs then pick your 6 from the babies, after level them up until they hit final evo or use evo stones if they need it and you can use any move in there move pool and 1 TR or TM per Pokémon, and give each of them an item of your choosing, then battle it up in sword and shield!
