USA Roller Coaster Road Trip Day 1: UK to Six Flags New England via Boston Logan
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 сер 2024
- Back in May/June 2024 I spent 14 days driving around the USA visiting amusement parks each day and riding 120 roller coasters! Our route took us from Boston airport in a loop, up through New York State to the shores of the Great Lakes, west to Wisconsin and back down through Indiana, Ohio, Pensilvania and back to Boston to complete the loop
In this video which covers Day 1 of the trip, I cover the following points to help inspire your own road trip adventures with handy hints and tips.
* Booking a Fly Drive package with Virgin Holidays - how the included elements, added comfort to the trip and saved money.
* The flight from London Heathrow to Boston Logan with Delta.
* Picking up a car rental at Boston Logan with Hertz.
* The ins and outs of a toll road transponder tag, by an inclusive PlatePass service made sense for our trip.
* An evening at Six Flags New England
* Checking in to the Days Inn Queensbury/Lake George with an honest review.
I hope you enjoyed the video and found helpful.

Sounds like you got on the main coasters. I was also really interested in the Dark Knight floorless when it was built - good choice of inversions for the size, I think.
Dark Knight is still running well (Day 14 spoilers!) its a "shockwave" sized coaster that (just under) 120ft scale perfectly adequate for pulling off some "big" manoeuvres.
It would have been interesting to see if the layout would have been cloned to other parks, if Six Flags hadn't gone bankrupt at the time.
Amazing video gutted I didn’t join you on this trip
Thanks Mart, we need to do Texas/up the middle ticked off
