OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY THIS WAS AMAZING!!! I love love love that you had Mikan's darker aspects even before she regained her memories. A lot of people who skip her FTEs don't realize there were warning signs from the start, and I love that you put in her loving the power over her patients. I also really loved 2:10-3:08 - it's just perfect, the frantic building of it, the examination of what Junko meant to her, her repeating that she'd never leave her is just so tragic because Mikan, she DID. I think most of the remnants, including Mikan, really blamed Makoto for Junko's death - but it's just not true, Junko killed herself. The part about how in the end Mikan will have her way when her victims are dying after her desperately asking if hurting her is what you wanted to do.... chills. It's her way of reclaiming power, just like nursing was this whole time. And then her going on about her devotion to Junko - that her acting like this is what she wanted from her, that she was useful to her, it's heartbreaking - because she's still being used. And her conclusion that everyone else will leave her, so why NOT throw those relationships away herself is just heartbreaking. I really liked the "god they deserve it all" too, because to Mikan, even the bystanders are guilty by vitrue of doing nothing to help her. I also love how ingrained the medical terms are! Being a nurse is a big part of Mikan's life & you really get the sense of that here! Over all, i really, really liked it!!! And I'm so happy we have a Mikan fansong now!!!
I really really agree with you here - I think that Mikan's psychosis gets overlooked. Like, she didn't just turn crazy, she was always a bit cuckoo bananas.

As someone who appreciates Mikan's character depth but hates Mikan Tsumiki as a character (which to be fair I'm sure is at least a little intentional) the fact that I can listen to this song and not feel like groaning at Mikan is a joy and a gift. Awesome work again, Chai

Okay I know I’m commenting again but.. This song represents everything misinterpreted in Mikan. Want to prove that Mikan is a good character? Send this song lol. People always mistake her for a free fan service, crybaby who has to purpose other than to be annoying and kill in the 3rd chapter when she’s ANYTHING but that. People miss the entire point that she HAS a reason to be that way-past abuse and trauma formed her sensitive and needy self. She’s extremely attention seeking since her being clumsy, weird, etc, was the reason why people even bothered with her. Another thing is that she’s deranged and crazy because of that-but the way it ties into her talent makes it much more interesting. She’s a nurse because she loves to help people weaker than her-it makes her feel stronger and a sense of pride. This is also showed when she says in the song “I have cures and you? You don’t.” In the 3rd trial, it’s revealed she’s retrieved her despair self from the real world (shown in the anime), and so that’s who her “beloved” is, it’s Junko Enoshima. Junko actually showed her love to manipulate her, and Mikan was obsessed with it. God I love this song.. in the beginning of the song, she’s just being calm and kind, apologizing as normal and being the person she was meant to be in the neo world-before slowly regaining her despair self and going mental. Near the end with the flashes of the anime in the back is when it gets great tho, it’s when she loses her shit lol. She starts naming random things that are usually used by medical professionals, and even though they help, she claims “they have dangers that you don’t see”, trying to manipulate them into letting her treat them since she knows it better. She then tries to guide them into a state where they feel a need to listen and obey her, since she’s so wise in these sorts of studies. She’s start using her physical abuse as a substitute to manipulate them into pity (which is what she does often to get her way). She then starts obsessing and claiming all of this was for Junko. GOD ITS SO HER SHSHIAJ THANK YIU CHAI YOU GOD!!!!!

There were a couple of things that sold this to me as being an absolutely incredible piece of music: 1.) On the lyricism standpoint, the inclusion of all of Mikan's stutters and the repeating words over and over (example: tend to- tend to-). This really sells the character and makes her seem realistic to her character. 2.) Continuing with the content of the lyrics, the inclusion of many toxic chemical compounds in the mid section of the song was brilliant and made it that much more evident that you cared about your work and did your research which i respect. 3.)Lastly, your vocal performance SOLD IT! It was such an amazing performance and i would especially like to point out the last "Chorus" section after the famous "FORGIVE ME" line. The tempo speedup coupled with your perfect vocals were absolutely spectacular (I'm running out of adjectives that's how good it was lol!) and made you feel the emotion behind it. I apologise for the long comment, but I just had to gush as this is probably one of the best songs I've heard in a while, and I'm just so impressed and cannot wait for your future content! I was expecting the lyrics to include more of her "outward" behaviour, so the fact that a majority of this explores more of her internal thoughts has me HYPED for what you have prepared with the others. I think it's totally integral to her whole character - it explains a lot about her nature, and if it's taken out entirely, we lose that side of Mikan that's rich and disturbed. She is more than the Ultimate Victim, and I wish more people spoke about that!! Love her to bits

I love your music so much. I really hope you make more DanganRonpa fan songs they fit the characters so well. I adore how you branch out why mikan likes being a nurse in a despairing way!! Usually I hate high pitched voices, but the way you made it somewhat squeaky and well pitched is so beautiful. I love your voice too when it drags and exaggerates. Man this song really made me appreciate Mikan's character a lot more and really elevated it to the point where I'd honestly say that I can conclude that to me, Mikan is a better third case culprit than Celeste. As much as I love my girl she was slightly insane even before Junko got to her and I think you showed that really well here. Also, I really like how the beat sounds like a heartbeat most of the time time it's a nice reference to her talent and I guess her constant nervousness and I like how it slowly accelerates at the part talking about Junko it really shows the affect she had on her already unstable mind.

You are genuinely one of the most underrated artists there are this is actually insane. I love love love that you had Mikan's darker aspects even before she regained her memories. A lot of people who skip her FTEs don't realize there were warning signs from the start, and I love that you put in her loving the power over her patients.
I also really loved 2:10-3:08 - it's just perfect, the frantic building of it, the examination of what Junko meant to her, her repeating that she'd never leave her is just so tragic because Mikan, she DID. I think most of the remnants, including Mikan, really blamed Makoto for Junko's death - but it's just not true, Junko killed herself. The part about how in the end Mikan will have her way when her victims are dying after her desperately asking if hurting her is what you wanted to do.... chills. It's her way of reclaiming power, just like nursing was this whole time. And then her going on about her devotion to Junko - that her acting like this is what she wanted from her, that she was useful to her, it's heartbreaking - because she's still being used. And her conclusion that everyone else will leave her, so why NOT throw those relationships away herself is just heartbreaking.
I really liked the "god they deserve it all" too, because to Mikan, even the bystanders are guilty by vitrue of doing nothing to help her.
I also love how ingrained the medical terms are! Being a nurse is a big part of Mikan's life & you really get the sense of that here!
Over all, i really, really liked it!!! And I'm so happy we have a Mikan fansong now!!!

Okay I know I’m commenting again but..
This song represents everything misinterpreted in Mikan. Want to prove that Mikan is a good character? Send this song lol.
People always mistake her for a free fan service, crybaby who has to purpose other than to be annoying and kill in the 3rd chapter when she’s ANYTHING but that. People miss the entire point that she HAS a reason to be that way-past abuse and trauma formed her sensitive and needy self. She’s extremely attention seeking since her being clumsy, weird, etc, was the reason why people even bothered with her.
Another thing is that she’s deranged and crazy because of that-but the way it ties into her talent makes it much more interesting. She’s a nurse because she loves to help people weaker than her-it makes her feel stronger and a sense of pride. This is also showed when she says in the song “I have cures and you? You don’t.”
In the 3rd trial, it’s revealed she’s retrieved her despair self from the real world (shown in the anime), and so that’s who her “beloved” is, it’s Junko Enoshima. Junko actually showed her love to manipulate her, and Mikan was obsessed with it.
God I love this song.. in the beginning of the song, she’s just being calm and kind, apologizing as normal and being the person she was meant to be in the neo world-before slowly regaining her despair self and going mental. Near the end with the flashes of the anime in the back is when it gets great tho, it’s when she loses her shit lol.
She starts naming random things that are usually used by medical professionals, and even though they help, she claims “they have dangers that you don’t see”, trying to manipulate them into letting her treat them since she knows it better. She then tries to guide them into a state where they feel a need to listen and obey her, since she’s so wise in these sorts of studies. She’s start using her physical abuse as a substitute to manipulate them into pity (which is what she does often to get her way). She then starts obsessing and claiming all of this was for Junko.

There were a couple of things that sold this to me as being an absolutely incredible piece of music:
1.) On the lyricism standpoint, the inclusion of all of Mikan's stutters and the repeating words over and over (example: tend to- tend to-). This really sells the character and makes her seem realistic to her character.
2.) Continuing with the content of the lyrics, the inclusion of many toxic chemical compounds in the mid section of the song was brilliant and made it that much more evident that you cared about your work and did your research which i respect.

I think it's totally integral to her whole character - it explains a lot about her nature, and if it's taken out entirely, we lose that side of Mikan that's rich and disturbed. She is more than the Ultimate Victim, and I wish more people spoke about that!! Love her to bits

Man this song really made me appreciate Mikan's character a lot more and really elevated it to the point where I'd honestly say that I can conclude that to me, Mikan is a better third case culprit than Celeste. As much as I love my girl she was slightly insane even before Junko got to her and I think you showed that really well here. Also, I really like how the beat sounds like a heartbeat most of the time time it's a nice reference to her talent and I guess her constant nervousness and I like how it slowly accelerates at the part talking about Junko it really shows the affect she had on her already unstable mind.

From one listen, this has become one of my favorite villain songs by a fan. The speed of the song really encapsulates the anxiety of mikan, and the lyrics show her true motives. She's a nurse not because she wants to help people, but because she wants lives to be in her grasp, like some deranged psychopath. Mikan is one of the scariest characters I've ever witnessed from any form of media, so thank you for this!
