I love this moment in the original DR because it reveals how celestial really was deep down she was really a frustrated and afraid girl desperate to get out just like the rest of her friends and she was able to hide it until her inevitable breakdown like the two other culprits before her
the guy has main character plot anyways, the writers of this show really did her dirty. Her poker face was perfect until she couldn’t maintain it any longer. That speech she gave at the end was truly legendary, although she had her execution, I really hope to see more of her further on in the show.

Considering her…unique ideology and standards, I have an idea about Celestia. In a hypothetical scenario where all of those who were killed during the Killing Game were secretly revived and given the chance to strike back against Junko, I think I know how Celestia would respond. She’d be completely unrepentant about her actions against Kiyotaka and Hifumi, as far as she’s concerned she saw an opportunity and she took it. I doubt she’d ever admit to her wrongdoing, and this would do little to endear her to her fellow resurrected students. However, Celestia Ludenberg is also a pragmatist who is neither stupid nor arrogant and would hardly fail to recognize the precarious predicament she was in. As such, she’d likely go along and cooperate with the others for the sake of escaping, then likely part ways with the rest once they get out. As for all the others…I really want to believe they’d forgive each other. Sayaka wouldn’t antagonize Leon because she was the one who initially escalated to violence and if Kyoko is any judge she regretted her actions in her final moments. Receiving her forgiveness would likely make Leon, who I truly believe acted out of desperation and survival instinct, offer her the same mercy. Chihiro I’m almost certain would forgive Mondo. He’s just too kind and fundamentally compassionate to hate anyone I think. Mondo was guilt stricken from the moment he realized what he’d done and would likely jump at the opportunity to make amends with Chihiro. Kiyotaka is a hardass, but he’s far from poorly characterized as “The Ultimate Moral Compass”. Once he understands that Hifumi was deceived into attacking him, he should be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I would like to think Hifumi would do the same. Perhaps Celestia’s complete lack of remorse would unintentionally provoke solidarity among the others. Sakura would be welcomed back by everyone, with the understanding that she was under duress by Monokuma and never actually hurt anyone else. She would likely be greatly relieved to see her friends again. Mukuro might be a tough sell for some of the others, as she did willingly aid Junko in her vicious scheme. But the sheer callousness of Junko’s betrayal and Mukuro providing willing aid in helping all the others escape would likely go a long way towards improving their relationship. Is this idea a Deus Ex Machina? Perhaps. But I really do want at least one reality where these people, these FRIENDS were able to escape together and regain their precious bonds with one another.
