I met Shane at a restaurant I was out for a family dinner when I was young, he was with his wife and first kid who was a baby at the time. My brothers and I were too nervous to approach him, so my mom let him know we were big wrestling fans, he said hey to us, and said he was going to help his wife and baby into the car and be right back. We all thought he was probably just going to leave, not wanting to waste time on us. He came back, and talked with us for like 10 minutes, asking who our favorite wrestlers were and such. Will never forget that!
For the son of a billionaire, he did what no one expected him to do. The dangers he put himself in trying to entertain wrestling fans were very real. If I were him, honestly, at this point in life, I'd probably just enjoy my privileges. He always seemed like a good guy.
I saw Bobby Heenan and The King Harley Race at "Love Joes," a buffet restaurant in Canton, Ohio, back in the mid 80's. I was a young kid at the time. I was frozen seeing those two eating. While the Brain totally ignored me (total heel lol), but Harley asked me politely, "May I help you?" I was so nervous to say anything but went back to our table. We later went home to watch GLOW Wrestling, but wow, I nearly met the Brain and the King!
Fun Fact about Scott Hall's moment: when he gave away his belt to those two kids, he was expecting Vince to be mad at him, but instead Vince told him that he did the right thing and ordered a new belt for him. Scott Hall was truly a legend, may he rest in peace
Kind of sad that he had that low of an opinion of Vince. We have all made mistakes. We all have our faults. I don't see Vince being so cheap as to get upset with one of his stars for giving a couple of kids the best moment of their lives over a $200 belt as one of his faults. I doubt he was actually walking around with the real one anyway. Those things cost $500,000. There was too many wrestlers with coke problems back then (especially Hall) to be letting them do that

Just a matter of time imo.. they're not my personal favorite but they have a massive amount of titles, have been consistently over and sold a mountain of merch.
I will never understand why Mercedes (Sasha) is so critical over her matches, she's literally one of the best female wrestlers in the world and it's sad she doubts herself a lot. That WM match was so great and I'm glad Stone cold told her it! That was a really sweet moment!
I think that's why she's so great. People who are constantly critical over their work will always seek to improve. Those who think they've done a good enough job won't.
If I was in the audience, I would have joined in the "please retire" chant. I think he is misunderstanding it's meaning... he is missing the "please" part. It doesn't not mean we don't want to see him wrestle anymore. It is because after all he has done for us, we care more about his health than about him entertaining us. I would much rather see him be able to get up and walk around at 80 than see him win the belt again. You've done so much for us big guy! You've entertained us for decades! Now take care of yourself so we can continue to enjoy seeing you do interviews and appearances for decades to come ❤
its a small story, but a fun one, i once met road warrior animal just before his passing, and he took one look at my 7'7" self and said "andre would have loved meeting you" that right there was the biggest compliment i have ever gotten, its not much, but it really moved me to hear
I honestly don't think Shane McMahon gets enough credit sometime....it's absolutely true, guy could of had any character he wanted, and he chose to be a whiney heel who falls off tall things
One wholesome moment that sticks out to me is with Becky and Kairi Sane. Kairi had hurt her head with a maneuver and Charlotte continued to beat on her on the outside floor. Realizing that Kairi was still down, Becky rolled her underneath the ring so she wouldn't continue to get hurt.
Some of these guys can be really kind and genuine. One guy i never thought was a nice person(until i met him) was ole Anderson, but when my family stopped off at steakhouse in Charlotte in 84, we spotted him. None of us wanted to go near him. Hes ole Anderson, heel and legendary grump. He actually came over to our table with 2 signed cards gave me and brother one and shook our hands.
There's something truly special about the compassion these professionals show for each other and for fans. They give so much doing this demanding job, and seeing these wholesome moments - i hope they receive 10x of all the good they give, man...
One thing we often overlook about professional wrestling - unlike every other sport or activity where you are trying to do the best for yourself, wrestling is all about keeping your opponent safe. Its all about trying to look good without harming anyone. So looking out for others is kinda ingrained in them. Wrestlers are different breed of cats altogether and I am always at awe and have great deal of respect for them
IM COMPELLED BY THESE PEOPLE. THE WRESTLERS WHO GIVE EVERYTHING EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. THE RESPECT I HAVE FOR THEM AND ADORING THE YOUNG CHILDREN MAN ITS A BEAUTY TO SEE.
As the only girl in the family, I remember enjoying watching wrestling with my brothers and dad. We knew it was "fake" but like in the way moview actors are fake in movies. We saw them as actors. The athletism and various risks they take were always mind blowing. Though the plot was "fake" The potention for injury was not and even as a kid I'd know this and be so in awe about these gladiators.
It's crazy how good they are as stunt artists and actors, they really portray their characters so well, despite that it not reflecting who they are as people. Really cool seeing these wrestlers and such showing what awesome people they are
All these people are awsome. Me and my Grandfather always laugh and joke saying after the match the wrestlers would be back stage and laugh and hug each other and this video confirms it. be bless everyone.
@BatmanandSonicfan4901, I don't know if this will help, and if it doesn't, I apologize. But DeForest Kelley had a great line in _Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan_ that I think fits Bray Wyatt: "He's really _NOT DEAD,_ as long as _WE REMEMBER HIM!"_ And, as long as we remember Bray, then just like the Firefly Fun House theme song said, "this is a friendship that'll _NEVER, EVER END!"_
Love all those. Always had a special place for Shane O Mac. That man had no business doing the stunts he did. But he did them. Another really nice good story is when DDP was not that famous, he got a match with Macho man, Macho man decided to put DDP over. Therefore making him famous. And many many years later DDP called to Macho Man to thank for it. Macho Man actually recorded that and played it to his own dad.
I’ve met Triple H and RKO on separate occasions since their training facility were close to my restaurant and those two fine gentlemen were amazing people. I wished them the best health in life and thanked them for my childhood
This is more like it. I usually skip your videos because they focus a lot on negativity or sad moments. Talking about the wrestlers who ruined their careers, the first and last matches of wrestlers who have passed and talking about what happened to the children of wrestlers who have passed (with the last 2 having benoit in the thumbnail..) Seeing this video I can already tell that those videos are probably well made and well written regardless of their content. And this video was just so nice and wholesome. More of this please!
THe Razor bit at the end reminded why, as a 39 year old man I still admire a lot of these guys. They're heroes to kids, I haven't forgot how much the glass shatter sound meant to me. Or Rocks theme hitting, or DX back in the day. They were my people man!
Man this video made me miss Bray Wyatt more. 100% heard nothing but good things about him, even if there was something negative in it it’s usually because he was in character or just in a bad mood. Truly a good man.
Met 'Mr. Kennedy' briefly at a signing. He passed by me, and grinned down at me with a 'hey, brother, how ya doing' as if I was a lifelong friend. A genuinely nice guy with 'elder brother' vibes.
When I was younger my family used to live shelters. Well its just so happened 2yrs in a row mick foley hosted toys for tots and took pictures with everyone and talked to everyone for a couple minutes. He dressed up as Santa and gave Christmas gifts away. My parents even saw him at walgreens picking up his medicine and he knew them by name. What a great guy!
The best wholesome moment is between Edge and AJ Styles at wrestlemania 38 after their dream match, seeing edge talking AJ Styles daughter was one of the sweetest interactions when it comes to veterans in wrestling
Wow I never knew what kind of man Scott Hall was, that was one of the nicest things I’ve heard of someone doing, i gurantee you he made those kids lives and that is something he very will didn’t have to do, what a kind hearted man
1:51 oh shit. You can see the look in Big Show's eyes. "Fuck. That neck looks bent wrong. Did I just break his fucking neck?!" Jesus. Must be a horrible feeling. As a person who used to be a bouncer (not much action though thankfully lol) I knew never to throw anyone. Concrete+head = possibly death. I'm not being responsible for that.
I came across this video and the ending really got me with Scott Hall because the little girl beside him was Hydeia Broadbent recently passed away. Rest In Power to them all.
My older brother wrestled with John Cena, (who went by _Prototype_ at the time), at the same wrestling school in Cali, way back in the day. One day, my brother botched a punch that left Cena bleeding. Cena seriously didn't react at all. He wasn't angry or even remotely upset. He just smiled and repeatedly reassured my bro not to even worry about it at all. The very, very few times I met him as a kid, he was always smiling and affable. I'll never forget it because he looked exactly like Prototype from one of my favorite games, Tekken 2, which I've always assumed is relevant. That dude is _genuinely_ amazing and seemingly always has been. Truly a wonderful human-being.
The immediate look on Show's face was telling for sure. I remember watching that match and though the poor guy done got his neck broken, and the impending dread that Show wore on his face made it even more gut wrenching
3:46 I particularly love it when celebrities do this for disabled people. As someone with a disability that fortunately makes me more high functioning but unable to physically work a regular job at this time (hopefully my issues can be treated, known as POTS Syndrome that developed in 2019 - I was a former warehouse Team Lead at that time)...I can only imagine that someone in a wheelchair with developmental issues must feel quite hopeless often. When someone goes out of the way to make them feel special, it really shows their character. That person admires them so much and doesn't expect for them to do such a thing or take the time of day for them. When they do, it sticks with them and inspires them throughout their lives to know that someone actually cared about them beyond the typical family, caregivers and such that are paid to watch them daily.
0:01 Rare slip up for Paul…still smiling instead of having a look of shock or fear when he’s obvious danger of having his skull crushed. Miz has him in the Full-Nelson position and Logan is still smiling.

@@midlifecrisi I agree.
Only real ones watched it 2 times 😂😂
I did
No sh-
Thats why I'm subd u little sh-
Lol literally on my 2nd watch
Razor Ramon was in character and out of character at the same time
If I was in the audience, I would have joined in the "please retire" chant. Now take care of yourself so we can continue to enjoy seeing you do interviews and appearances for decades to come ❤
Unfortunately the fans used as an insult
They are most definitely using it as an insult lol
You can sprinkle as much sugar as you want on it, it doesn't change the fact that the fans were just being their usual prick selves.
@@luisgomez8635 words matter.... they easily could have chanted "JUST"
That was a go away heat insult at the time. There wasn't any hidden meaning to it. Shame really given everything that he'd done.
its a small story, but a fun one, i once met road warrior animal just before his passing, and he took one look at my 7'7" self and said "andre would have loved meeting you" that right there was the biggest compliment i have ever gotten, its not much, but it really moved me to hear
I honestly don't think Shane McMahon gets enough credit sometime....it's absolutely true, guy could of had any character he wanted, and he chose to be a whiney heel who falls off tall things
Seeing Vince hug him that tight made me seriously think about how I view Vince from now on. I forgot he's Human man. I feel like an asshat lol
Rest in peace Bray Wyatt😢
I never knew Scott Hall went on Springer and did that, makes me respect him even more. We miss you chico.
Man the Bray Wyatt one hurt my heart 💔😭😭
I love these videos that show just how great the WWE SUPERSTARS really are!! Thanks for sharing this video!!!
7:34 genuinely started crying about this one 😭
Wholesome WWE Moments Caught On Camera
Opening 3 Seconds: Logan being planted face first.
These feels warm my heart.
Thanks for all the time you put in these vids
dope video.. the legends are really the reason it keeps going.. Seeing Hunter comfort the injured wrestler really made me feel good
There's something truly special about the compassion these professionals show for each other and for fans.
Wrestlers are different breed of cats altogether and I am always at awe and have great deal of respect for them
Keep making great videos…
cant wait for the next one👍😀
Sup l love your videos you’re one of the best UA-camrs of all time thanks for entertaining us. 🙏🏻
IM COMPELLED BY THESE PEOPLE. THE WRESTLERS WHO GIVE EVERYTHING EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. THE RESPECT I HAVE FOR THEM AND ADORING THE YOUNG CHILDREN MAN ITS A BEAUTY TO SEE.
This is why we’re still fans
These guys are just as awesome outside of the ring man.
I cried several times during this video. It caught me by surprise ❤
You've Earned Another Subscriber! Thank You!!
i actually started sobbing while watching this
As the only girl in the family, I remember enjoying watching wrestling with my brothers and dad. We knew it was "fake" but like in the way moview actors are fake in movies. We saw them as actors. The athletism and various risks they take were always mind blowing. Though the plot was "fake" The potention for injury was not and even as a kid I'd know this and be so in awe about these gladiators.
Love your videos!❤
It's crazy how good they are as stunt artists and actors, they really portray their characters so well, despite that it not reflecting who they are as people.
Really cool seeing these wrestlers and such showing what awesome people they are
Love hearing this comment sections stories, pretty amazing man.
i love seeing the wrestlers interact with young fans. it makes me misty eyed.
Rip bray wyatt you will never be forgotten
All these people are awsome. Me and my Grandfather always laugh and joke saying after the match the wrestlers would be back stage and laugh and hug each other and this video confirms it. be bless everyone.
5:19 Sorry but the ref has me dying
That Sheamus one was awesome. John Cena giving the announcement about his brother was amazing
I haven't watch WWE for over 10-years but you gotta love that franchise and the whole family of wrestlers 🖐️🙏👍
Those end transitions bating us into another video are spot on dude and they work....Well
Since Bray Wyatt died I still have not recovered from the news
@BatmanandSonicfan4901, I don't know if this will help, and if it doesn't, I apologize. But DeForest Kelley had a great line in _Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan_ that I think fits Bray Wyatt:
"He's really _NOT DEAD,_ as long as _WE REMEMBER HIM!"_
And, as long as we remember Bray, then just like the Firefly Fun House theme song said, "this is a friendship that'll _NEVER, EVER END!"_
@@RobertNielsen1970 you have a great point there
@@BatmanandSonicfan4901 Thanks.
0:36 ♥️🥺😔
The Scott Hall moment really had me tearing up. There really wasn't anyone quite like the Bad Guy.
I'll say it again because of the original video being blocked. Thank goodness Alexa Bliss didn't join Bray Wyatt in heaven due to an eating disorder.
Dallas is the realest guy there is. I have nothing but admiration and respect for everything he has achieved and done for others
I’ve met Triple H and RKO on separate occasions since their training facility were close to my restaurant and those two fine gentlemen were amazing people. I wished them the best health in life and thanked them for my childhood
They are people just like us! It’s great to see them spread the love that the fans give them.
Thank For the Video 🙊🤯🥰😍😁💗💐🌟🥇🏆
This is more like it. I usually skip your videos because they focus a lot on negativity or sad moments. Talking about the wrestlers who ruined their careers, the first and last matches of wrestlers who have passed and talking about what happened to the children of wrestlers who have passed (with the last 2 having benoit in the thumbnail..)
Seeing this video I can already tell that those videos are probably well made and well written regardless of their content. And this video was just so nice and wholesome. More of this please!
Awesome video yay
THe Razor bit at the end reminded why, as a 39 year old man I still admire a lot of these guys. They're heroes to kids, I haven't forgot how much the glass shatter sound meant to me. Or Rocks theme hitting, or DX back in the day. They were my people man!
I love Big Show's eyebrow raise while walking. He's like, "seriously?"
Most wrestlers are the kindest, chillest, most down to earth athletes on the planet.
Lita gave me a kiss on the cheek when wwe came to Syracuse NY.. ill never forget it ! Matt and jeff hardy looked suprized lol
Big Show doing a spear is one of the scariest things I've seen.
And his dropkicks
Wow I never knew what kind of man Scott Hall was, that was one of the nicest things I’ve heard of someone doing, i gurantee you he made those kids lives and that is something he very will didn’t have to do, what a kind hearted man
“You ain’t beat til you quit” what a phrase of the Legend Scott Hall
Also, Sami and KO was so Emotional
The bray Wyatt one made me almost cry
Meeting Austin was amazing… he was gracious and kind for a good 15 min in Toronto. Treasure the moment.
This is my favorite video
Miss you and Love you Bray
Miz has him in the Full-Nelson position and Logan is still smiling.
probably because he was happy to be there
The Thank You Big Show part got me 😢
That big show moment, was so good.
Makes me wanna😢
One of the greatest moments in WWE will never e mentioned ever... When Voldemort and Eddie embraced after He won the Title ....
shane is one of my favorites man. obviously hes not too visually stunning like a batista or something, but man you can see how much passion he has
Yeah, it's so great seeing this. I think some people think sometimes that the wrestlers aren't normal people
