Its a good information! Of course yes, Railwire provides service with affordable cost. I have been using it for more than 18 months. I hardly faced 1-2 days internet down and local cable network operator should be good enough to handle issues. I paid around ~6K INR for new connection along with good OTN and wifi routers(We already used cable TV connection with the same guy, so no cost for cables). The interesting part is, I'm using this connection from village, where AIRTEL, JIO service are not available. In fact, I have an option to choose other operators also with the same optical cables. So switching service provided is easy(no need to depend on rail wire alone, BSNL also available on the same fiber able). Railwire Customer care and support also better and faster. Prepaid options allows us not to recharge for sometime if we are out of town. I heard, If we take BSNL service, we will get a telephone connection with free LOCAL and STD calling options. Not sure Railwire provides the same service(possibly no).
My lco refuses to give me FUP plans.. Which is cheaper than my current plan 40mbps unlimited at 706 price... At same location he provides 50mbps-2mbps 3072 GB FUP plan at just 470 rs.. But whenever i request him to give FUP plan than he refuses.. What should i do
There can also be 2 different service providers for the same area, if you can search for another ISP it is well and good. If not then it's better to call Railtel customer care for further solutions. Thank you!
@@_vipinchaudhary I have contacted my ISP, he said it may be because some bring the cable from the existing ONE/ONT. if you can request a new one just for your house it might help. or just call the railtel customer care they can handle the situation for you.
If you are not in tier 1 and tier 2 cities there is less possibility of more providers. You have to pay them huge charges. There is no other way and it's hard to reach customer care.
I just saw your bill for installation that's too much, I'm Also broadband provider I have never charged like this and sir BSNL is best service provider rather then railtel it's have some limitations like :- technically those area is feasible which is nearby railway stations,also back-end support is not good as well as BSNL have Now come to the coast BSNL have also cheep plans starting in just 449 which have 30 MBPS Data and UNLIMITED LOCAL AND STD CALLING And many more attractive offer's and BSNL HAVE and more thing sir several things required for become a broadband provider like Transmission team,NOC,NIB,CSC and BSNL has the largest fixed-line infrastructure in the country, with a network of over 600,000 route kilometres of optical fibre cable BSNL have all that's expect govt support that's why they are in loss
Dial up connection like old broadband is different from FIBER optic internet service, they provide different services for corporate and government service but I don’t think we can just connect a phone line and use it as landline. It’s always better to visit their website! Thanks

Everything is fine from railtail. It's the local cable operator who loot people in terms of installation charges and other cost.
Is railwire provide landline as well
