Its So So refreshing to hear an influencer say, "I do not promote over consumption." Too many influencers on here living in excess, while they drink out of their metal straws to help "save the environment" 🙄
Your review was amazing, I love the soft matte foundation and I wanted something glowing, I think imma go with the sheer glow because I want more coverage and I’m combo-oily so I don’t need the extra glow. Thanks for your honesty!
I bought a light pink, normally I'm beige but after one hour it looked and stayed amazing on my mature skin and oxidised to just the right shade for me - fortunately 😊
Love your eye look in the intro! I love both foundations but if I had to choose I would keep the light reflecting because of how it sits and wears on my 45 yr skin. Also, it leaves my skin nice after removing. I definitely have to use more light reflecting than other NARS foundations because it sinks into skin so well. It wears really nice and looks like skin for me. The sheer glow is good too, looks beautiful but not as skin like for me, all NARS foundations are very high quality. Love them! Great video! Ps. The pump is like that on my light reflecting foundation too. I over consume foundations and I have all of the NARS foundations. Your roundup of coverage was spot on but did not include the soft matte NARS foundation which I am curious what you think in terms of coverage between the two. It is right up there with the radiant foundation in terms of coverage and is very smoothing on the skin.
Loves your video! Especially how you mentioned that your skin needs to be dam near perfect for the light reflecting one. I have dry skin so i think sheer glow will be for me
Great vid. Thank you! I just got the new nars light reflecting & I love it, except I couldn't get a perfect match. I considered getting two colors to blend. But didn't want to. So far I've blended with colorscience bronzer. Stromboli is the only one with the right undertone for me but too dark. Fiji is also a good under tone but a tad too light for summer. I don't wear foundation everyday. It will last me years. the two you compared both have the right ingredients. I cannot use fragrance (that includes the term fragrance listed or some extracts or oils which are all considered fragrance) all which are sensitizing and long term wear damaging. And no alcohol, or witch hazel. This morning I got a notification that the glow is 20% so I've had that on my mind. Your review was the best (for me) clear & concise. You touched on the questions I had. The glow could be the perfect addition since it has some differences & I could get wear & different benefits out of both. So my question is can I mix them? And/or I may use the Fiji (light reflecting) on my tzone & the glow on the outer since that area is also more on the dry side. Any updates since your video aired? Thanks a bunch! Well done! My first time here. Yay. I didn't have any issues with the pump & after you mentioned the oxidation, that is probably why the stromboli ended up being way too dark. I have a lot of texture around my cheek from old acne scars (indents) which looks great with the light reflecting. Great wear. The longer the better. Not luminous. The light reflecting does what it's supposed to do. It doesn't emphasize texture. I get skin like results. I used hands as per bottle but considering getting the hourglass ambient soft glow foundation brush because it's description says finger like application. & I wanted to try the Wayne Goss poreless technique using a short, dense brush. Finally, no smell for me? I also just started using the same color corrector. And I used the hourglass vanish primer just on my cheek (textured) area.
Great video, been wanting to see the comparison of these two Nars foundation, you’re right, not much of a difference, think I’ll stick to my Sheer Glow 👍🏽
Thanks for letting us know lr oxidizes so much, sheer glow is already a touch too peachy for me so I'll stay away from light reflecting to avoid being orange lol
Sheer glow is cakey on my face and the light reflecting goes off so quickly on my face and i do not know which is the best for me as i can only wear nars foundations as there is no alcohol in them
Now I'm confused because you put the Sheer Glow in the middle of your list? So which of the top 2 do you prefer? Also the issue of dewy or matte finish ? I wear a matte foundation but want to now wear a dewy finish makeup. I am leaning toward Nars liquid foundation and have mature skin. So please clarify, thank you so much! Enjoyed your review. 🤗⚘️⚘️⚘️
Great comparison. Thank you. Out of curiosity and because you have both of them: have you tried mixing them up and using as "1" foundation on the whole face?
I haven’t mixed them and I don’t actually feel the need to. I don’t think you would get anything out of it? Because the formulas fairly similar. If you wanted to make sheer glow, glowier I would recommend mixing with Charlotte tilbury Hollywood flawless filter rather than the light reflecting xx ☺️
I wear Fuji in sheer glow and the colour in light reflecting is more yellow. What shade in light reflecting would you recommend or stick to sheer glow??
Yeh it’s not ideal that the shades aren’t direct matches fiji in the radiant longwear is so much darker then fiji in sheer glow so I purchased Deauville so that’s the shade I would recommend if fiji is too yellow for you. Deauville is only a tad more neutral however it is quite a bit lighter. The brand says it’s only one shade lighter then fiji but I would say it’s at least 2. In all honesty I prefer sheer glow over the light reflecting so if you’re happy with sheer glow and it matches you well perhaps you should just stick with sheer glow 💕
So with the light reflecting because the formula is fairly thin with a brush I noticed it causes brush strokes and doesn’t blend out as nicely compared to a beauty blender.
Can anyone tell me why I cannot find the shade Copenhagen in sheer glow anywhere except online. I wish I could see a true swatch so I can know if it would be a good match for me. I currently wear fiji and find it a tad too yellow. I am wondering if Copenhagen might be too dark or too pink compared to fiji. My undertone is neutral.
I came here looking for Copenhagen too! I usually use shade Santa Fe in sheer glow but it’s gotten too dark for me … currently looking for someone who uses the shade Copenhagen or Vienna ❤
Generally people pump out product on their hands or a palette instead of squirting it directly onto their face? What's up with that though? Of course you're going to need to press the pump down harder this way. I genuinely want to know why people do this... Mostly it's people who aren't professionally trained in make-up I assume.
@@ashagab2192 have you tried deauville L4 shade in light reflecting? As u said it gets one shade darker so for sheer glow fiji user deauville will work in light reflecting ?

It might be bad but with foundations I use a brush for the first layer and the sponge for the second layer

Thank you For this very Detailed review 😊
Please do a comparison between nars sheer glow vs Charlotte tilbury airbrush flawless foundation. Pleaseeee🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I don’t hav that foundation ! But I will see if I can get my hands on a sample x
Great comparison. thanks!
No worries, thanks for watching 😊
I've had the exact same issue with the pump for the light reflecting foundation!
Interesting! It’s annoying huh?!
Same, I also have an issue with the pump! You’ve sold me on the sheer glow, but Sephora is sold out of most the shades :/
@@themicaeliasun that's so interesting sheer glow is sold out, which country? x
@@ashagab2192 It was sold out in my shade (and other shades) on Boots UK too, I ordered mine from LookFantastic
Have you tried using the same tool for both foundation? What's the result?
So with the light reflecting because the formula is fairly thin with a brush I noticed it causes brush strokes and doesn’t blend out as nicely compared to a beauty blender.
What’s your Mac shade
My light reflecting has no scent
Light Reflecting is totally similar to loread skin tint.if u have that u dont need the foundation.even coverage is similar
Oh thanks for letting me know!
which l’oréal? the paradise tinted moisturizer? 💕
@ramsha which loreal tint?
❤❤❤❤❤

I have oily to combo skin. My shade is fiji. Which one should i go for?
I would get a sample of fiji and Deauville as fiji in the light reflecting is darker then fiji in sheer glow
