In Eupatoria, Crimea, Gotha wagons were in service up to recent years. Now new Chelyabinsk-built modern streetcars are replacing them on a piece-by-piece basis. It's somewhat sad because despite being not very safe, Gotha wagons were iconic pieces of engineering and industrial design. But of course under 25 year of foreign regime they did not receive their needed maintenance, so now once we returned to Russia a decision was made to phase them out altogether instead of trying to refurbish them.
Ach was ein cooles Zeitzeugnis 😮!
Sehr schöner Beitrag, danke!
Die tschechische Tatra-Straßenbahn war und ist eine zuverlässige Maschine. Tatra fährt noch heute in Prag.
