Not a rat rod . No spider web gussets , rust , nick nacks , skulls , basically, I don’t see a bunch of trashy looking crap all over . It’s probably just unfinished. Looks good !
T-buckets were cheap easy builds in the 50's and pretty exciting rides. They were not overpowered with flatheads, but they were light. As HP increased and more race radical parts began being made T-buckets fell from favor. Why? Just too dangerous. Poor braking, bad weight distribution, under-steer pushing through corners, easily flipped over, passengers would fly out of them like plastic bags from a PU truck bed, and so often so poorly built they literally broke in half many times. That's why you only see them parked at car shows, oohhs and ahhs all around for sure, but many brown spotted undies for anyone ever to drive one.
Only thing wrong with this open bucket is no protection. Roll cages aren't ugly enough to avoid dying should there be a rollover. Lost a very good friend as he pulled out of a Sonic got wild and shot the median and turned over. D.O.A. Stupidity didn't kill him lack of safety bars did. R.I.P. Harry Ridge!!!
That's pretty dicked Jeff. The guy is just giving a shout out to his buddy who passed. Although I agree sh*t happens out of our control. A roll bar on everything may not be the answer. Bad things happen sometimes
Mention health brotherhood condition of road safety.

Who cares if it's plastic? I'm thinking of picking up a speedway kit as a home for my nailhead.
