This is interesting, but I can’t really see the reason why you would ever want to do this unless your intersecting roof is somehow barrel shaped or the reverse curve of a Japanese temple maybe. Barrel roofs are becoming more popular in modern architecture (especially on tiny homes or perhaps a large accented entryway or porch cover) but they are often made of metal. Is a curved valley popular in the architecture in your part of the country ?
