@@CFHGARZA for me I am very happy for indie dev, now they can do a non expensive mocap, for their game.
The actress herself has a strange amount of visible teeth and gums when emoting in real life, so that doesn’t help.
It's good enough plus you can tweak it

I think she was over acting and it processed that way. Kinda like dubbed movies.
The problem is not the lips movement, is how light acts over teeth, gum and inside mouth

the plug-in for Unreal Engine is only available for Windows currently.

The mouth is all weird. It could just be the actor's over exaggerated gesticulations but no person in real life contorts their mouth like that to express anything.

Cool tech, but it still looks off in a way I can't really put my finger on. We're still not all the way to full realism yet.

But do we need it? The answer is Yes, but at the same time it makes me wonder. Aren't videogames suppost to be escape from reality? But then we are making games more and more realistic. Sure, there are planty of video games that still stick with cartoony and other stiles and not realism. But still it makes you wonder. (and it's not just graphics, but stories characters etc too)
