  • Aperture magazine’s most recent issue, “Being & Becoming: Asian in America,” considers how artists use the medium of photography to grapple with questions of visibility, belonging, and what it means to be Asian American.
Using the piece “The Possibility of Home” from the issue as a jumping off point, this Aperture Conversation, moderated by the writer, Xueli Wang, brings together photographers-Jarod Lew, Miraj Patel, Arthur Ou, and Julie Quon-to explore themes of identity, familial presence, and the idiosyncrasies of the contemporary Asian American home.
