Thank you for keeping this on your channel. I played Destiny 1 to get ready for D2 since D1 was about $8 with all expansions at the time. So never got to raid in D1. With vault of glass returning with beyond light, this is a great prep video that you may want to update/release again. This way people can get a refresher or learn so they can hop in and enjoy new content when it's out.
i hate when a game forces you to have friends to complete something. I play this game alone all the time but this raid cannot be completed alone. i have friends im not lonely but none of them plays destiny.
Do you have the destiny app? If so you can go to the forums and ask for people. People usually respond fast.

I don't see why they decided to make this co-operative only....I like to play alone -_- Don't get me wrong, I love to play with my friends, but none of them have destiny. And the people online, always seem older than me, even though I'm 16 and apparently that shit matters....don't know why....But having a mic that picks up everyone's conversation in the house, and a family always asking me to do chores doesn't really help either..... -_-

they should have an option where there is like computer guardians that you can team with so you can learn and you dont have to worry about it the computers can tell you what to do and you can choose your role so you can learn all roles its an idea basically some kind of tutorial.

I'm having to help a group of people through this and the other D1 raids because I'm the only one who's done them. But I only did them on the 360 so it's been years. This helped immensely thank you very much

i've been a little hesitant to do the vault, i don't have any legendary weapons but i have two exotic weapons mida multi-tool and the so far terrible bad juju. my light level is only 26 because i still have a rare helmet. my chest piece is exotic (not fully upgraded) and everything else is crucible legendary gear (again not fully upgraded, those ascendant shards are hard to come by). so does anyone have any tips for what i need to do or get before i can take on the vault
i'm a level 27, i had 3 fireteam members with level 26 and we did pretty well without mic to the Templar,we haven't finished the raid because they had to go, so I think that you can do it at 26 but I suggest a auto rifle because rate of fire is important for those fanatics and minotaur's, you can get ascendant shards from doing daily heroic missions, try to do the weekly heroic strike to get some strange coins and maybe xur will bring the surus regime auto rifle. what console are you on?
sarg sarg until the end of November i'll be on 360. i'm working on getting the suros regime missed last weeks xur. and idk if you know but the 360 doesn't have many people doing vanguard so i basically have to solo the weekly strikes can't do the nightfall strike though
Sarah2Cold Well, you can very easily do it, just a little less damage to the final boss. If I was you and I once was a lvl 26 on the raid. I'd get good, lvl 27+ people who know about the raid and whatnot.
I found a nice group of people on the bungie forms and did it today for the first time. I'm a level 28 warlock. People hype it up, even this video does. It's so much easier then people say. you can def do it at level 26. but i would suggest 27-28 just to be safe. if you have any questions feel free to message me My GT is Ferrexity. Good luck!

I tried to participate in this raid for my first raid ever. So overwhelmed. You seem really good at tutorial videos. do you help ppl go through raids to get over the anxiety part of it? If not, any advice for a noob?
I got icebreaker(the exotic i really wanted) in exotic chest at first i didn't know how to get to exotic chest then I saw this video so I knew how to get to it.Without this video I wouldn't have gotten icebreaker THANK YOU!
In the Gorgon maze you should probably tell people not to double jump or boost run because they'll hear you.

Super Good Advice procs its bullet return perk against oracles, so ideally you want someone with that equipped as it means he essentially has infinite ammo against them.

I've only done VoG once, and we got SUPER close to killing Atheon then fell apart after some untimely deaths by axis minotaurs or something. Definitely need to revisit soon and get that mission out of the way.

I always wondered what it must have been like to play the raids for the first time, it's not like they give you any instructions along the way. I've only been playing for about 3 months on and off so I've always had more experienced players to help me along.
will well personally for me it kinda felt like I was the lagging player. I was able to fight off enemies pretty decently and keep up in that regard but stuff like the Gorgon's Labyrinth and the Jump Puzzle kinda made me feel like a newbie. First time going through the Gorgon's Labyrinth I didn't know it was time for that yet until I accidentally dropped RIGHT IN FRONT of one and was like "ahhhh shit" and I ran away. But it was too late because the Gorgon had already seen me obviously XD. That's also when I found out that they wipe out your super so I couldn't use Sunsinger to come back XD. Lucky for me my Raid group was cool and helped me through it. On the other hand going through VOG for the first time also made me feel like I was missing out on an entire section of the game.
will The first time I did Vault of Glass after it came out, it took 3.5 hours. Now it takes me roughly 30 minutes.
