Good video just wish you had more POV shots for other players. Specifically the Oryx fight you just kept showing the same guy and same actions over and over. A POV shot of the relic holder during that point would have been nice. Otherwise good job this helps a lot.

Real Praux well, not knowing what you're doing I guess that's not a reason to be kicked, but really if you want to do any raid seriously get a mic. Especially if you don't know what your doing.

Just beat it this year for the first time after playing every raid in destiny 2 and I would agree both hands down it’s the best in the series! Although wrath of the machine and last wish are strong contenders for second and third.
It would be cool to have the option and collect less loot perhaps. However, bungie could keep the the hard mode the same, just add a guided mode (lower light level) for noobes.

You don't mention the giant holes in the floor in the darkness maze, or the taken that spawn on wave 3 of warpriest... which is notable because their knights spawn ON your platform.
Excellent video. I had stopped playing Destiny for a long while because it took far more time to level than I wanted to spend, so, I never got around to doing the raid! But I started playing again just a few days before the Y2 MoT dropped, and now I am scrambling to get up to speed on the raid. Lol. This has been a HUGE help! Thanks, and wish me luck! ;D

This raid makes no sense. It's like the Chewbacca defense... If Oryx wants revenge, why do we have to go through all this bs? Why would the Hive require some weird sequence to open doors? Why would the Hive supply us with an aura shield? Why would Oryx pound a pillar then just stand there? Madness!!!
+EDKsurly Oryx (with and without his sisters) has destroyed moons, planets, star systems and entire civilizations of trillions of people, at least some of them visited by the Traveler! He can't actually be killed unless it's in his throne world. Why would he even let us face him there!?!? He has been killed countless times by other enemies, just never in his throne world........BUT, Oryx is really really REALLY old! If I remember right he was ~45,000 years old before he made the Dreadnaught and there are things on the Dreadnaught which existed before Earth did (so more than 4.6 BILLION years ago) like the statues of Crota, Nokris and Oryx you see in the Regicide mission. Soooooooo, I guesshe's just tired of trying to help the Universe reach it's "ultimate state" where things only deserve to exist if they can't be destroyed. Maybe after a few billion years he is finally ready to die instead of living a slave existence to the worm gods who will destroy him if he doesn't keep killing more and more powerful things.............or it's just that making unwinnable games isn't very popular and doesn't usually make money...........

The Needle was the ship they (the three sisters who later created/turned into the Hive) used to go deeper into their planet. The first worm god they actually took from their father (King of the Ozmium Throne) after he died. I believe after that they made/stole ships that were capable of leaving their planet. But Oryx did make the Dreadnaught and placed his throne world into it (so to speak) so that it would be harder to enter, thus making it harder to kill him in his throne world.
Man, I would love to get some good raid gear, or do raids in general, but unfortunately only 1 of my friends even owns Destiny and I don't feel really comfortable to play with complete strangers. Destiny should become accessible for solo players.

Yeah really. Then whats left? no play time anymore, maby 1 hour or something? while i could have 2 hours of playtime by playing matchmaking supported content. If bungie makes an > OPTION < to turn on match making I would be happy. Because iam a day 1 destiny player and i have never done a raid or a nightfall. How fucking sad. :( Still i know this is part my own problem. I have these long school days, but why is it such a huge obstacle to put an option for matchmaking in the game?
Green Animations in general, matchmaking raids tend to require the entire raid to be dumbed down to accommodate for the massive amount of players with 0 experience and no idea what they are doing, refuse to learn and want to be walked through, will not use the headset or communicate in any form, and just want to run around dps'ing everything like animals, they will not have correct load outs or will otherwise have incorrect gear meaning low dps output and low armor so they are constantly dieing making it hard on everyone else. an example being world of warcraft, when they added matchmaking to raids and it became known as easy mode, everyone was pissed off because they all got handed the same loot everyone else worked their asses off for, and now casuals were on the same tier as dedicated players, and the entire game has gone downhill ever since, catering more and more content for casuals, alienating long time players.
