Considering wrapping my 3 myself. It’s not easy but with a helper and patience it can be done. Probably will take a few days off of work to do it. From what I have seen the front and rear bumpers are the most challenging.
Satin grey is the slickest wrap color. 3M of course. Then wrap the side cameras with a neon green and match the caliper covers in the same green. Get yourself sharp wheel covers and viola!
In California, have you gotten any tickets for having the tail lights blacked out? Also, any tickets for driving in the Car Pool Lane without those nasty HOV stickers? lol Thanks! Great Vid
CA cops won't catch you unless the violation is expensive one. But if you ever get pulled over for any traffic violation, they will start pointing out all the cosmetic violations as a whole package. Driving without HOV sticker is a big no no because it's very strict in CA. Also, you are risking yourself losing front window tint and blacked out tailights.

I was thinking of yellow tinted PPF for my headlights. I have a M3 blue in color on order. I'm not sure of how the contrast will look though. I'm a old school 80s guy when yellow head lights were the rage back then.
When you get taillight tint think about the people who are behind you because some tints make it difficult to see your brake lights another reason why I personally think it should be illegal

I did mine by myself. Judging by forum posts, most people do it themselves. It's pretty easy. The wraps come precut, so all you have to do is align and apply.

Some people suggest that the OEM head lamps are critical for Auto Pilot and FSD to work properly due to the fine tunning of the softwares ability to identify objects, especitally at night. So adding tint to the front head lamps could cause some minor issues with your Auto Pilot as the cameras are calibrated based on the stock OEM light brightness.
i wanted to get 50% tint but ended up with 35% because in California cops will give you tickets for anything, even farting while driving probably for emissions

Compared to a 3 series BMW, C Class Mercedes or an Audi A4, the Tesla 3 looks decidedly 2nd rate. Of course it's a fantastic car and it represents the very near future of motoring but I just don't get that feeling of desirability that I get with other cars. The side profile looks awkward as it's too high, the rear is not too bad but the front and most important view is just terrible. The lights are too benign and need to be more aggressive and the overall shape is very uninspiring. Even the Lucid design absolutely tears Tesla a new one.

Ah that one was a custom job we did with 2 different 3m colors not sure of those color names. I’m pretty sure the white was just glossy white though
