Alverez is a good player in the wrong period of time . Can't do that type of defending in today's modern game. And ffs his not a patch on bonzo who also wouldn't fit in today's game either.
We know Alvarez can indeed be a great player. He made us forget about Rice in his first season. But his consistency has dropped off.. and alas in todays modern game he’s always a challenge away from a yellow card
Totally agree no players are bigger than our club If Todibo or who ever don't want to play for us , then we need to move them on 1985/86 finished 3rd with a good hard working honest team with Devonshire adding the class ⚒️⚒️
Great show as always Stel. With regards to players with egos, it seems to be the Steitden-picked ones who upset the cart. Remember Moyes' famous player MOT test? He would weigh up all the characteristics of a player before taking a punt and if they had an attitude he wouldn't sign them. And we all said he dithered!
JLo has a very different contract to Moyes. It will include milestones, breaks and incentives. A consistent line from the Board is that they will review things around Xmas time. I suspect there is a milestone around that time in the contract, probably that we need to be in the top ten.
All managers have targets so this is unlikely to be anything new I doubt the board will sack Lopetegui if we’re not in the top 10 by the end of this calendar year but we’ll see
Guilherme , Ings and Irving were the subs with sour miserable faces looking at Paqueta hugging Lopetegui, with all three posing both hands akimbo. With regards Todibo, Steidten has obviously not done due diligence with regards assessing his mental attitude when agreeing the loan to buy deal.
Clearly some players are not happy and probably all for differing reasons Steidten i think has a lot to answer for.. the summer transfer window hasn’t been as successful as we all were led to believe
Get aguerd back in under lopategi fits the bill ,couldn't do 90 minutes of moyes ball ...but who could.? Sorry for all the posts mate ...but watched the whole show gave comments on what you was saying
You crack on with the posts mate.. I appreciate it Ironically aguerd would have definitely suited Lopetegui’s football but it seems he’s happier in Spain
There is a toxic vibe around the club that is caused by the ownership (mainly Sullivan with a bit of help from Brady) so it rubs off onto the managers and the players, that's why everyone ends up looking after no1.
This was the 1st time this season, against a very good Bournemouth side, that I saw a style of play that I can associate with a West Ham side. Taking Solar off was a mistake in my view, he's very good player and getting better each week & up to his sub we were well balanced and looking like we'd win it. Mavraponos is not good enough for the prem, he's liable to make a bad mistake each game and its not good enough. The subs messed up our rhythm but all in all a very good performance. For me - definite green shoots.
@@Ipdex I was baffled at first but realised why Soler was taken off given he was on a yellow card. With this ref you don’t take chances Mavropanos has the makings of a decent centre back but he needs to do it consistently for the whole 90 minutes
Great shout tonight stel love the passion and absolutely agree fella coyi x
Thank you John
Alvarez is brilliant the modern day billy bonds ..love him ...❤ great player x coyi x

Unfortunately Billy Bonds would have had to moderate his tackles in the modern game and so does Alvarez!
@StephenUren-qb6ff Way better than alverez anyway was bonzo .

Yes I do remember Moyes and his strict criteria.. was he right after al?

Great show Stel, as always. I hope Orford is the next kid get's some time. Is there a bad group in the squad and is it French speaking players??
@@rhondatonytanti559 don’t think it’s all the French mate
Not sure Rodriguez is exactly being a positive player in the squad either

As much as we may not like those above, it would be too easy to cast the blame on them for the petulance of some players
