Zac, I would reconsider the can you installed. GGB does NOT work on the 850 Skidoo motors! It is a copy and paste fitment can. No R&D and flow bench like hps, slp, jaws, and a few others. You could lose as much as 5ish hp. The GGB is budget friendly…. but your sled will not thank you and will lose rpms (which in return is HP).
The best thing he could do for that sled is proper clutching (Skidoo had the clutching way wrong on the Summits) Just changing that will make it a whole new sled. Unlike the Polaris’s, Skidoos need 8000 +\- 100 rpms to run top notch. Powder freaks makes a cool high elevation/low elevation head. And a Jaws/SLP pipe…. That sled will be the baddest in town! But dooing a GGB is just a major downgrade!! Coming from a guy who works and knows Skidoos….
The thing i dont understand about you putting a ggb can and being partnered with them is that in one of your videos when you had your 19 pro rmk you changed the can on it because it was bogging and you switched to a jaws can.... so why do it to your 850 skidoo. My buddy's have the same problem with their skidoo and the ggb can is just gonna affect your new sled....
If you run a vacuum cleaner hose from the engine right to a hole drilled into the side of your helmet, it will be crazy LOUD!! 😉😉😂🤣. Noise does not mean more Hp. Making the sled lighter is a great deal though.
My dealer is getting a couple 9R rmk’s this week. No warning other than a shipping notification to the dealer. They had ship dates the same as yours. So sounds like hopefully the ship dates are a worst case scenario thing, not set in stone 🤞
I wish you would look more at the camera. I hope you didnt pay to much fot that because it didnt make much differance. Dont take this the wrong way but when do you get the top of your head cut. It is like you walked out of the chair. Are thease mods for you or is you girlfriend going to like this mod. Your sled might come sooner than you think right?
You need reroute, O2 sensor line do not zip tie to coolant line. It will eventually chafe or puncture. I would also recommend using some never seize on that o2 sensor

Agreed. Hate the sound, makes no sense to run something that preforms poorly on the sled. I personally run diamond s or slp.

I have the Jaws Rowdy can for my backcountry 850 and it sounds amazing. A lot more of a rumble at idle than the GGB.
