Coach, excellent content! I see you have lessons on both inside and middle distance, but I cannot find anything on long distance, eg. how to get in range. Do you have something for that, or maybe some plans for the future?
2:55 i recently found out to make it easier( for me )to get to that position u can grab their hand and move it to their chest then hide your head behind that lead shoulder easier bc it creates traffic and unobstructed space to move through.
The martial art I studied was very much of the fitness/theory sort from what I understand, lots of high kicks and not as much sparring as my shrimpy body would probably need to survive a real fight (Tang Soo Do, specifically) but I was surprised our fighting stance is more or less identical to the long distance boxing guard (which makes sense since that's the distance we'd ideally try to stay at). I love learning so thanks for making these!
Yes! This is usually going to favor the orthodox fighter because thier liver side is further back and protected. When you are shoulder to shoulder with a SP you want your lead foot INSIDE of thiers so you can walk them over thier heels. Hope that helps, I have a video planned that will go more in depth on SP / Orthodox match ups.
@@bambaraboxing this makes total sense- liver will always be on the right side; southpaw or not. Thanks coach, if your gym was closer, I'd be going there 4 to 5 times a week learning as much as I can- merry Christmas, friend
I'm glad this is new stuff for you guys! Please remember to 'like' the video and subscribe to keep the videos coming! 👊🏻
Man looks like travelled all the way here from Ancient Greece just to show us how to wallop someone.

Could u please make a detailed video on square stance like ( julio cesar chavez)🙏🙏. Love to learn from u
Yeah, a good place to start would be our video on middle distance basics. JCC is one of my favorite fighters.

Hey love your videos. I am a boxing channel as well so find this really interesting!
Excellent
Hey coach-any tips on how to use the shoulder to shoulder position against southpaw opponents?
Yes! This is usually going to favor the orthodox fighter because thier liver side is further back and protected. Great stuff. ❤️
Are there any attacks with lead hand from inside?
Yes the lead hand is certainly used to attack on the inside. But the right hand is a clearer example for our video.
MAKE THIS FOR SOUTH PAWS PLEASE good content man
