I am glad to get this again - and it's good to know that Jon Butcher is still kicking intergalactic butt. I first heard of him in the early 1980s and I wished(in vain, you KNOW how it is) that more people had dug him. If you have the chance, BUY THIS.
Absolutely brilliant ! I bought this album, way back in 1994 when it came out & still "delve into it's brilliance" to this day ! What a great guitarist Jon Butcher is. Check out his other stuff (Jon Butcher's Axis, etc).
I listened to this album non-stop during several months, back in 1994. On my recorded tape with my walk-man : Face A "Ian Moore" Face B "Barefoot servants" nuff said !
this record is one of the best bluesrock albums outthere,,when i came out here in europe,, my record store hat only 1 copie and i get it.lol ,,since then i listen to this record every month once,,part 2 of barfoot servants hat not that quality,,how ever,,listen to john butcher..positvely the blues,,also amazing record...
I love this jam, even though it's stolen from the Reverend Billy Gibbons. I feel the words are better than blue jean love affair. but who doesn't love the Reverend. but this was the best album I feel ever done by the barefoot servants. I don't feel there was one bad song on it. a great CD. and people please by it. it's the downloading free music that has killed the music. we need to support musicians, or we will be stuck with shit that's just produced by the music industry.
Sorry but this is just a just a piecemeal of other people's material. Particularly the bands Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top. You can actually HEAR which bit of which song has been directly lifted and stolen, Im sure Lee Sklar when he played with this band was unaware. I'm guessing they avoided legal action only because it didn't succeed commercially, and because it's over-produced, crushed, and everyone had heard it all before.

Funny you should hook these two brilliant Blues songs together. I segue'd them in my radio DJ days. Made for each other.
