@@krisissupercool1 EQiing fucks with the phase on alot of things, and people cutting low end on things that dont really need low end end up messing shit up, , reverbs would make sense youre just adding depth to sounds so theyre not overlapping much, i barely eq anything anymore and when i do, its not cutting or shelving its barely turning a band down to make room for other things, i found if you look for the "hurt frequencies" just lower all of them with eq a few db aall of those so during mastering you can boost tf out of it without boosting those hurt frequencies and over all track would sound good, and low end problems just frequency mask the low end
@@Icythot-m6ibit old, but if i hear one more person talk about phasing issues caused by EQing i’m going to explode. It’s not an issue unless you’re playing the same sounds at the same time. It’s a massively overblown problem and I wish people would stop parroting this “fact”
I'll be fair and say that I was one of those people that thought Dillon was ghost produced because you never ever saw him in the studio on his socials... even back in the meme days. But... this has totally corrected me and he really knows his stuff and I love that
I remember hearing this song and diving deep into EDM. It changed my life because I started producing and it fed my family and put a roof over their head. Thanks Dillon and DJ Snake 😁✌️
True. Getting too technical kills creativity. Most of the time, samples are pre-processed and won't need EQing anyway, unless they're needed to sit in the mix in a certain way.
Ksmr said it too. dont worry about sound design, worry about songwriting. Dillion Francis is one of the biggest out there and he did it with minimal effects and processing. it's like the shredder guitarists, hi technique but no one but musicians listen to them. cool to nerd out to but when your life gets ruffled its true artists that you turn to.
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS legit my favorite CLASSIC song from highschool, i was on the bus with an ipod touch this this ish on spotify with skullcrushers i mean this shit is LEGENDARY
Dope! I was hanging out backstage behind him during imagine music festival while he was playing with knock2, was a sick set! My friend actually just showed me this song a few weeks ago, dope to see how it was made. What a masochist with the way he doesn't even sort the drums near each other 😭😭
Goes to show how simple simplicity can do wonders instead of overthinking and overdoing everything. He's right when he says if it sounds good that's all that matters. Trust your ears!! The bubble synth also comes from nexus.
Did Dillon and Snake produce this a couple years before 2013/2014? If I remember correctly, Ableton 8 was the current installment at the time. When I first tried Ableton, it was through a Lite version that came with the first Novation Launchpad and it was Live 8. Totally possible they were running an older version since some people don't always upgrade. I'm still on 11 myself
I really dont know why some people just keep asking Oh why is there no low cut.... Please! Is its sounds good it is good. You dont always need to master if its just sounding good . Dont get stuck at visualisation. Songs need dynamics and sonics.
Fuckin love Dillon
wtf goat jumpscare
kshmr volume 5 when
Clouds with him is a banger ❤️
Fuckin love kshmr😅
big reverbs, barely any eqing, and a massive massive hit! what a track
you're seeing bounced audio files, its pretty much guaranteed there was a fair bit more processing than what's shown

Very freaking cool this is by far one of the most epic tracks of the edm world and of the binge alcholism period in my 20s 😅
We need to bring Back DUBSTEP/Futurebass/Trap era
