also how in headspace theres a pic of kel drinking milk and it reads: “kel drinking some milk, his favourite!” but in the real world theres a pic of kel drinking orange joe but he specifies somewhere in the game that he hates milk. this shows how sunny was slowly forgetting his friends from so many years being away from them
Did anyone else notice that there are still some slight black marker marks on the photos from when Sunny scribbled out the faces? What’s interesting is that you can see those marks just around and on anyone’s face but never Sunny’s and Basil’s! The pictures with only Sunny or Basil or them together are completely clean.. so he only scribbled out his other friends... oh man :c And Either Basil or Aubrey cleaned the marker of.. Which would make more sense?

Aubrey cleaned them real good XD At 0:46 in the top left corner, at 1:26 on Mari's neck, at 1:57 in the bottom left on the photo frame and in the top right, 2:22 in the bottom right, at 3:24 near Kel's face and at 3,44 on Kel's Face! Every photo is at least a bit dirty but not the ones with Sunny and Basil and the photo that was hidden in the tree house! That's some cool attention to detail!

I believe that the pandemic context and people forced to live like a hikikomori for almost a year boosted the depressive and nostalgic topics of the game. Kinda I wish I have played in that time but instead I played Doki Doki so, I cried anyways XD These games could be happy at first, hurtful at second and an emotion relief at last. Unless finishing them leaves you feeling empty for 1 or 2 days :/ (my case lately).

Pretty sure they were really close friends (and still are ofc). Maybe Kel ennoyed her because he liked her, who knows. I like that in this game ther eis a lot of things you can interpred how you prefer.

Spoiler warning(?) Honestly, at this point, I somehow feel guilty and miserable for Hero. I always knew he had a huge impact in life when she died, and seeing how he seemed alot happier when Mari was around HuRtS. ( 3:15 , look at this boi blushin) They could've possibly be together (as lovers/couples) if it weren't for those stairs. (and sunny's pictures are the cutest)
I think Hero would be that one friend that won't forgive Sunny and Basil the fact that Mari had the biggest impact of his life and knowing what they did could lend more depression and grudge

probably bc he locked himself inside his home which blocked most of the sunlight that he needs, that's why he is so pale and why he is so smol plus he stayed in bed every day for the past 4 years until kel managed to drag him outta the house in the main route so he didn't get any exercise and he also doesn't eat breakfast or lunch bc he spends most of his time in the dreamworld so he must be malnutritioned

Like if I stayed in bed all the time without ever leaving the house or eating properly, my parents would have intervened immediately and not just let me wallow for *four whole years*. And he didn't go to school during that time either! But his parents were most likely depressed as well because they lost a child, so they probably were to busy with their own grief to notice...? Still weird though. Could it be that his parents knew what actually happened and therefore distanced themselves from their own son?
